Comfortable beds with a heating system. Really enjoyed laying down under the blanket after a long day.
The shared kitchen has a rustic style, which is very beautiful. The microwave door is a bit hard to push when closing it, though.
The neighborhood is really calm, it's a small village (especially now in June).

Good choice, very good location. perfect service. big kitchen ;) very clean room! if I have a chance I will go back NZ and stay in this house again

A tiny motel, has basic amenities. Didn't know there's a communal kitchen until we were leaving.
It's a good stop over point, but most of the town closes either early or has long weekends, so make sure you have supplies beforehand. When we arrived there there was no reception, had a number and person to ring, the entrance is a bit tricky "around the back"...yep that's exactly what it is.
