Those are my two priorities in which I look for myself when renting a vacation home, which is why we went to the expense of providing a quality cleaning service and purchasing brand new comfortable beds.We are huge Dog lover's and believe everyone should be allowed to bring their furry kids with them on vacation, however due to prior inconsiderate guests with pets who have damaged the property and unable to pick up after their animals, I am now forced to charge a pet fee of $30 ( Per Dog ) (dogs only). We just installed a fence around the property so no worries if you wish to leave your pets outside, they will be properly secured. Also being up in the Mountains, there are natures insects and animals in the area so stay alert. At busy times the traffic in the vicinity can get pretty hectic.You can't beat the beautiful views of the lake while watching the Eagles, ducks, swans, herrings and other wildlife in the area. The lake is stocked with fish and you might even spot the beaver that lives in the lower lake. Get away to our comfortable 2BD/1BA mountain cabin just steps away to Rainbow Lake. Golden Retreat provides the perfect mix of a mountain retreat, while still close enough to all that the White Mountains have to offer. The cabin sleeps 6 guests for that perfect family get away or romantic retreat. The master BR has a full queen, TV , while the guest room has a queen and bunk beds ( FULL ). All beds are high quality for a comfortable nights rest. In-floor heating keeps this cozy cabin very comfortable, along with an electric fireplace for heat and ambience. Portable electric heaters are in each room for added comfort if needed. Being at 6800ft elevation, the average summer temperature is in the mid 80's. Open the windows to provide fresh and cool mountain air. On rare occasion it can get in the 90's, so a portable AC is provided for your comfort ( 1 in Main Living/Dining, and 1 in each bedroom ).In the main room is a 65" flat screen TV, DVD player with Netflix access, high speed internet service, bar, electric heating fireplace and a dining table that seats 7 comfortably. The living is complete with comfortable seating, fireplace, and 70” 4K TV. The open-concept design ensures a spacious and airy atmosphere, perfect for family gathering.The fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with modern appliances, cookware, and a huge island countertop. There is also seating for 4 at the kitchen island, and a picnic table on the back patio that can accommodate 8 people.** For our Summer bookings: we have 3 12,000BTU Mini Split units. One in each bedroom and one in the living room. We also have fans in every room as well.Other things to noteThe house is equipped with high-speed wi-fi, smart TVs (in the family room and master bedroom), and Sonos smart speakers.Please note that smoking is not permitted on the premises. Any cigarette butts found on the property will incur a charge.Other things to note*We have professional pest control come out regularly to treat out property however this property is in the mountains and as such has the same critters around that all mountain properties have. Spiders and mosquitos may be found.*We do not provide fuel for the bbq grill. However we do have two tanks on site that may or may not have fuel in them from previous guests. Propane tanks can be filled at the Ace Hardware nearby. Please make sure to turn off tank handles when done.Please remember that you are staying in our family cabin, not a hotel.
