Pine Mountain RV Resort

WARNING We had to cancel an RV campsite at Pine Mountain Resort in Pine Mountain, GA near Callaway Gardens last year and the receipt says the credit must be used within 12 months. I called today to reschedule my nights and was told that the credits were voided at the end of 2024. They refused to honor my request that had been paid in full. Very bad business practice and you should avoid the RV resort at all cost. You can see in the first sentence, the 12 months usage of credits and then on the last line shows the end of the year deadline. Very deceptive on their part. Again, avoid this campground. Had to cancel due to an unexpected event. Although we informed them before 72 hours of arrival, they charge a fee. Can’t email a cancellation, can’t do an online cancellation and can't leave a phone message. So they make it cancellations difficult and costly. My mistake - as I didn’t understand their written “company policy” but I do now, and won’t make that mistake again. Won’t reserve or stay there in the future - my new company policy.

This is a strange layout campsite with concrete pull-through pads and a curb on the driver's side . All access roads are paved making entering and exiting easy. Sites are large enough for big rigs and toads. The biggest negative is the pads are surrounded with grass. Picnic Tables sitting on grass, no fire ring. When it rains get ready to drag loads of wet grass clippings inside. They are making improvements to this place, but at $90 a night I did expect more. Also the camp site laundry room is pretty old and rough. Note: some the electrical pedestals are in pretty bad condition---this is an old park.

Unfortunately, my family and I were not allowed to stay at the property, due to property's error. We reserved the Bali tent through the property's website. I was later called and told I would have to pick a yurt or the cabin that could accommodate the number of people. Please note that I listed the number of people when completing the reservation and it gave me Bali and Java, a yurt, and the cabin as an option. I asked for the manager to call me back and when she did I felt like I was more of an inconvenience to her and she was not helpful at all. I was questioned how I made the reservation and if I listed the number of people. So very disappointed with the service and the manager Debbie. My niece and daughter are disappointed because they were looking forward to the experience. I would not recommend this place as family friendly or a place that values its customers.

The pillows were so hard and felt like concrete. It was so horrible. We wanted the small cabin and they only left 1 picture for us. It was so small. We wanted to upgrade but when we did there was no bathrooms or kitchen. It was a horrible experience!

I can't even start to tell you all about the wonderful time my wife and I had visiting your RV Resort. I am a retired Marine so I missed a lot of birthdays and holidays. I wanted to do something super special for my wife's birthday. So I rolled the dice to come here and my expectations was off the charts. I loved this place so much I am bringing my daughter here next month for her birthday. Thank you very much for your professionalism and yet family setting.
