Was disappointed that the hotel did not live up to its billing. First had a hard time checking in (room would be ready in 30 mins) Once in our room the room was very dated. The A/C had insulation coming out of it, the cleopatra lounge chair had stains from god knows what.. The should had mold everywhere and even aluminum foil on the shower curtain...Also Clerk "Walter" quoted us over $400/for one extra night! See pics

Room floor was so dirty my feet got dirty walking on it. I complained and asked them to mop. They said they did while I was gone but when I came back it still had grit and sand? on it. I spilled something on the bed so I pulled the sheets up from the mattress. When I came back later they just laid the sheets and blanket back down. I again had to go to the desk and ask for service. Went to the pool and some substance was floating in the corner. It looked like vomit. I alerted the staff and they said it was just pollen and suntan lotion. Pollen in late July? Was informed by other guest that 2 days prior someone had been vomiting in the pool and they never cleaned it. A guy came out with a paper towel and skimmed the water but it is very much still there.

Hotel is not clean, elevators don’t appear to be well-maintained and toilets hardly flush. The room air conditioners are filthy as well. The first room we were given had dried pee stains on the rim of the toilet. The lobby also has a very strong air freshener scent which might bother some people. Pros would be that it’s close to the beach, they do have a nice gym and the front desk staff seemed nice.

We had a wonderful stay, check in was easy and staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and had plenty of different seating choices and the access to the beach was very easy, less than 5 minute walk. Lobby super nice and had lots of space and seating. Bar was stocked with the normal spirits. If I had one recommendation it would be the breakfast was just ok and little pricey for just ok. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

This was my second time staying at this hotel on a trip to the Crystal Coast. It's a good home base since it is close to everything. There's a short walk to the beach, and it's only a few miles to Emerald Isle or Fort Macon, or across the bridge to Morehead City. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The room was clean, and everything worked well. There is a market in the lobby where you can buy drinks of all kinds, chips, candy, even some general items that you might have forgotten to pack. Wish the weather had been better, but otherwise it was a nice holiday.

Nice boutique hotel with tons of extras the big places don’t seem to offer. We especially liked the lobby area. The price was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

The hotel was very disappointing. Check in was slow and unpleasant. Our room was dirty, the shower was broken and the water stayed in the bath tub. The overall cleanliness was very poor. I do not recommend staying here. It was the worst experience ever.

Great hotel, walking distance to the beach, nice pool..nice staff. Stayed with family and friends had a good time! Hotel was very clean. Breakfast not included but it could’ve be available for a better price. I would return to this place. ..
