THE GOOD The farm itself, was in a stunning location, our Euclayptus room was extremely clean and kept immaculate, and was replenished everyday with clean towels etc. And the morning breakfast, was one of the best we ever had. We had also preordered dinner for 3 nights, a week before arrival date as requested, and to make sure my wife’s needs ie good wholesome food, was available, due to her diabetes, hence the reason we booked, as they also advertise the fact that they have an AA Dinner Award 2023. 9photo enclosed) THE BAD Although it is not there fault, they do not pre warn you, that the roads, leading to their Farm, are extremely narrow, with brambles and thick foliage We had only just purchased, a brand new Audi Q7 SUV, which is a large , and particularly high value vehicle, and no place to manoeuvre , as car is wider than the lanes, and when you are faced with a car the opposite direction ( enclosed),and which now has scratches to either side, and we now have to pay out a detailer to remove these. So making night driving along these lanes, impossible for us. Warning: please do not travel here in the dark, as you will not find your way to the farm. THE UGLY As we said, we had pre booked 3 nights dinner well in advance. For the first night, we were told that Pork would be served, as another couple had ordered it. We went along with it and were agreeable, as we are very easy going and we were fine with that. And once again, we were agreeable, as we thought it was just for that one night, and we would be able to have a meal of our choice from their evening menu our third night. But once again, we were informed that there would be no dinner served, leaving us in a position, to try and find a healthy meal, somewhere that afternoon, as we knew due to the lanes, we would not be able to venture out at night. By now we were in a predicament, as we had to live on the snacks we usually carry with us, in case of an emergency re wife, leaving us feeling vulnerable. We were only told about the NO SHOW dinner, once we had paid, so had no choice, but to stick it out, as we would not have stayed at this venue, if we knew, we would have been let down this way. We also informed them by email , whilst we were there, that the pubs around the area were not suitable for my wife’s dietary needs, and that we were struggling to find somewhere to eat, giving them the opportunity to redeem themselves. But nothing phased them, instead they directed us to Michelin Fine Dining around the area, which we found very condensing, as all we were looking for was an healthy option. They did not even offer to make us a sandwich, which we would have paid for, as we don’t expect anything for free, or use of their kitchen facilities, or fridge to store food, we may have brought from outside either, and which would have kep
