Expérience d’une nuit un peu mitigée dans ce lodge. Le parc du Pilanesberg est absolument magnifique, le lodge en lui-même est tout neuf, décoré de façon assez moderne. Les suites sont spacieuses, bien équipées et climatisées. Mention spéciale pour Dolphy, ranger exceptionnel et super sympa, avec qui nous avons passé une matinée incroyable ! Ça c’est pour les aspects positifs. Famille de 5, nous avons très déçus de constater que nos 2 suites étaient très éloignées l’une de l’autre, et nous nous sommes retrouvés séparés pour le drive de l’après-midi, toutes les voitures étant complètes ! Autre point à signaler : 1 seule boisson offerte pendant la pause lors des drives. Idem pour les cafés : les expressos et autres cappuccinos sont payants, seul le café en cafetière étant gratuit… À ce niveau, c’est dommage. Dernier point : beaucoup de clients dans ce lodge (46 personnes). Ajoutez les clients des autres lodges voisins, et ça donne des embouteillages pour voir les animaux, avec parfois 4-5 voitures autour d’un groupe d’éléphants ou de lions… Ça fait vraiment industriel, c’est dommage. Heureusement, la sortie du lendemain avec Dolphy a rattrapé l’ensemble. Au global : il y a mieux si vous êtes prêt à faire 2h de route de plus au départ de Johannesburg.

Great place to take the whole family, including children who enjoy seeing animals. Beautiful and spacious rooms, restaurant with international cuisine. Totally approved!

Renovations still taking place. Beautiful surroundings. Waiter service staff friendly. Once reception full staff talking loud in morning, many noise. Patricia, reception, not friendly person. Have travel many places, but she check in and was not polite and not smiling. Just not a good welcoming from her. Not belong in hotel, maybe doctors office. Food fine. But buffet afternoon need more options. Dinner perfect. Safari drive and our guide excellent.

Beautiful lodges with wonderful friendly staff. Food is great and the chef was willing and able to accommodate some complex dietary needs. Black Rhino is in a separate concession within the Pilanesberg park so a very short drive to see wildlife and away from the busier parts of the park. Saw lots of elephants, rhinos, a cheetah and a pride of lions amongst many others.

Angle grinding while trying to relax was not fun. The lodge didn’t tell us when we booked that renovations were taking place. The rooms were very nice. The food has deteriorated a lot. This was our 3rd visit and the quality is below par for the price. The most disappointing was an extremely disinterested ranger. We spotted 90% of the animals for him. He gave boring facts and refused to answer any of the kids questions. Sorry but there is a lot of competition in this price range and this trip was a waste of money

We had a fantastic stay at the Black Rhino Game Lodge. Service was excellent, food and game drives were great! Very good value for money paid. Highly recommended!

O hotel é um lugar Incrível muito agradável! Funcionários super simpáticos e atenciosos. Nosso Driver nos Games foi incansável na busca dos animais e explicou tudo sobre o lugar e animais!
