Our warm and cosy hotel in the centre of Koli village is a haven for active holidaymakers and curious adventurers where you can enjoy free WiFi - generous buffet breakfast which is included in the room price - hotel saunas as well as delicious food in the hotel restaurant. The walking and hiking trails into Koli National Park start from our hotel. Lake Pielinen and the peaks of Koli are only a short distance away. Skiing tracks - hiking paths - the lake - ice swimming - hills - Koli offers endless opportunities for once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Rental equipment for activities is available for rent from our hotel and ski equipment from the nearby Ukko-Koli ski resort - there is plenty to do and see to suit any inspiration. The hotel also has a luxury sauna on the top floor with a terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside views. A large outside solar panel field is located next to the hotel.

I booked the hotel via Trip.com. The hotel booking is paid, however during check-in, the front desk manager said that she couldn’t find the payment record. I reached Trip.com right away and I got replied and assisted immediately. The payment actually transferred to the hotel side but the manager kept saying that they couldn’t find the record. After spending half hour standing at the reception, we are allowed to check-in. The manager apparently wasn’t competent nor polite. She definitely need to learn how to deal things internationally. She didn’t apologise at all.

The Break Sokos Koli Kylä is a very decent hotel close to the Koli national park. It is located in a valley nearby the Finish national park Koli and offers mini golf, a sauna open till 10PM and a bike rental. The rooms are very tidy, clean and bright with a nice view depending on the room's alignment. I could see the forest as well as the hotel entrance from my room which was very pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a Gluteenion (gluten free) right at the beginning and a great variety of fresh products. Unfortunately, there is no gym in the hotel, s.th. which would have made the stay even more joyful. However, as the price was also acceptable with 139€/night as single person (a couple pays the same! Hence, half of it per person 139/2 = less than 70€/person if you travel as a couple) overall, I was very satisfied. As a hint, the only supermarket in the vicinity is located directly next to the hotel!

Huone kompaktin kokoinen, mutta mukava. Näkymä parkkipaikalle ja metsään. Aamiainen järjestetty linjastomaiseksi ja jonottaessa meni aikaa harmillisen paljon. Aamiaisella oli molempina aamuina henkilökuntaa liian vähän, koska tarjottavat olivat vuorotellen lopussa. Tämä hidasti entisestään.
