This should be the blue print for the Hampton Inn in Eagle Pass. They could learn a lot. Staff well dressed, well mannered and friendly. All of the reception staff speak good English, in case Spanish is a little rusty. Clean overall, clean rooms, gym, pool and lobby area, which suits in parts for the breakfast. Real dishes and cutlery, no plastic or paper plates as across in the US. Fresh, self cooked food and 85 Dollars compared to 398 per night is unbeatable. Gym is well equipped, towels, wet wipes and water provided. I stayed 2 weeks and early in the morning or before 7 pm it's nearly empty. Next year again but for a month.

Quedé primero que nada gratamente, sorprendido por la ciudad de Piedras Negras, que era mi primera vez que la visitaba, y cuando llegué al hotel doblemente sorprendido por la limpieza del hotel, el orden y sobretodo lo silencioso en la habitación

We had a great experience, the only thing I did not like is that “room service” was not actual room service, you could order food from your room but had to go down stairs to the lobby to pick it up. Other then that everything was good, staff was friendly, hotel was very clean and walking distance to very nice restaurants. Definitely will stay here more often.
