We stayed in the tucked away room called Lerondini and it was exceptional. The room is spacious, cosy, with its on kitchen area and reading corner with outstanding views. The shower features bare rocks which were unveiled centuries ago. Every shower was a unique experience with a spa feeling.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming and character-filled hotel. It’s beautifully done and felt like a real hidden gem. We stayed in the l Viaggiatori Suite, which was super cosy and nicely put together—comfy beds, soft pillows, and a big, luxurious shower that we really enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed, whether you wanted to cook a little something, make an espresso, or just enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace while taking in the amazing views. Sophia was so warm and welcoming—she really made us feel at home. The whole place had a warm and inviting feel. One of the highlights of our trip was a fantastic wine tasting with Luigi at the nearby l Ciacca winery. Our stay was short but so sweet, and we’re already hoping to come back again someday.

Spectacular, stunning, jaw-dropping—there simply aren’t enough adjectives to do this place justice. Nestled in the picturesque hills of Picinisco, the hotel offers sweeping views of the valley below that are nothing short of unforgettable. We stayed in the Rondoni suite, which features a beautiful four-poster bed, a cosy reading nook, and a charming little kitchenette. The bathroom was a true highlight—built into the cliffside, with exposed 12th-century rock forming part of the shower. A completely unique experience. The owners and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Don’t miss the chance to book a tour of I Ciacca, the family-owned vineyard just down the road. Their produce is outstanding, and their commitment to sustainable, innovative winemaking is truly inspiring. Do yourself a favour: move this hotel—and this region—straight to the top of your must-visit list.

Was lucky enough to stay in Scritorri room which has a balcony with a breathtaking view over the Lazio valley towards. The room was beyond all expectations with a living room area with apple TV and the most quaintist kitchen with fridge, cooker and dish washer. There was also a small annex where you could sit. The bedroom had 2 opening doors, one had juliette balcony with mozxie screen so you could sleep with door open and get a nice breeze at night and the other door led onto a balcony seated for 2 people with that amazing view where could listen and watch the birds etc and the bedroom had the most comfortable bed and pillows and there was also a light up step into room. There was also a separate wardrobe with plenty of storage leading into a huge shower room and toilet. All rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. There was a window in every room and all had mozxie screens except balcony door so can be left open for welcoming breeze. The hotel was very close to shop, bars with terraces and an ice cream shop, bank and chemist and restaurants including one under plazza at hotel. The lovely bar at plaza did amazing pastries for breakfast freshly cooked in the morning. I also recommend a tour of the local wine yard at i Ciacca. Picinisco is a lovely wee town with an amazing history - well worth a visit.

Having spent a wonderful 3 days at this Idylic Hotel, if you are looking for a relaxing retreat this place is a must. Please make the time to indulge in the Wine tasting with Luigi you will not be disappointed…thanks to the family for making our stay more than we good have wished for.

Loved everything about our short stay and wished we had longer. Room divine and loved the inclusion of a simple breakfast which we ate on the terrace outside enjoying the wonderful views. Note, no air con which may be an issue if it was hotter (it was hot when we were there but I believe July/Aug worse). Easy walk around town and a couple of places to get a meal and drinks very close - both with options to sit outside and enjoy the views. Would have loved to have done a wine tour offered by the family who own the accom and learnt more about the region’s history.

We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Stunning location, warm and cozy apartment with comfortable beds and amenities. Our host Sofia and her mum were amazing and so welcoming. Picinisco, even out of season, has a friendly charming atmosphere and there’s plenty to see. The local bar was a brilliant place to sit and get to know the locals. Lots of other lovely villages close by. Very lucky to stay and will be back.

Un paradiso a cielo aperto, in un paese caratteristico della bella val Comino. Arredi lussuosi e raffinati, camere molto belle. Personale fantastico. Un posto dove andare almeno una volta....per una serata romantica. Da consigliare. Io ci tornerò.
