The hotel photos are a deception. Rooms smell because of the carpet, windows cannot be opened to ventilate, because of a pump that did not work, there was no water for an evening and night, so you could not wash or flush the toilet. The air conditioning did not work properly the last day. I think the staff no longer has empathy due to all the complaints received. They remain calm and are resolute in their decision. No flexibility whatsoever. Please note that the taxi shuffle service is not available all night. You then pay for a taxi. It was hilariously awful. Not recommended. Go for the Airport Inn.

The hotels near Port of Spain Airport in Trinidad and Tobago 🏨 are not in good condition except that they are close to the airport. It's expensive and you have to walk a long way to eat.

Brilliant short stay. I really appreciated the checkout time of 1pm. Unlike most hotels you have to check out by 10am-11am. Shame we missed the paid breakfast. No one at check in advised us the process of pre ordering breakfast so thar was disappointing. The noise from next door was very loud so walls are very thin. Didn't get much sleep then was woken up by workers who was doing work on hotel. If you can stay elsewhere I would recommend to get a decent night's sleep

This hotel is unfit for humans & should be close down - it's nasty from reception to rooms. Single Rooms without windows and canard yellow walls. I tried upgrading to a king deluxe - A/C was not working but, it had 2 - 1 feet wide by 5 windows. No coffee machine etc. Walls are paper thin can hear intimate encounter of neighboring guest. Difference between a King deluxe and Single Room is just bed size, for both you can lie on the bed and touch the walls on either side. SMALL - I called another hotel in the area and pleaded with them to rescue me - So I paid for another accommodation (this was around midnight). The best encounter I had at Airport Suite hotel was the desk staff, especially the younger female who was on due. She took the time to ensure my safety, by get the taxis driver's information who pick me up to carry me to the other hotel. This young woman should be acknowledge and my many thanks to her for going beyond her line of due, to ensure the safety of a sole female traveler. Wish her all good things and hope she can get a job at other hotel which she and the hotel can benefit from her quick thinking and customer care.

Room was extremely small and window opened to hallway. Free shuttle from airport but $10 to return to the airport.
