Aurico Kata Resort & Spa Reviews

Thank you very much for making the room special for our honeymoon! Only thing there were lots of spiders on the sides of the ceiling, so I think that the room needs more cleaning. Other than that good service and friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Lots of options for breakfast too.

This is a very nice and well located hotel. All amenities are offered and nearby to many restaurants (Red Corner is especially good). The only complaint I had was that I found 3 very large cockroaches in my room within 5 mins of checking in. I informed reception and was offered to have someone bring bug spray, but eventually agreed to change my room. Staff was friendly, but communication was difficult at times. Overall, a nice place for a short stay.

Great hotel for reasonable price. Location is wonderful, between Kata Yai and Karon. A lot of shops, cafes and other facilities. Breakfast in Aurico is excellent. Nice place to spend your days on vacation.

Nice room decoration and location near Kata beach. Front desk and concierge service quite nice as well. The only thing is drinking water only 2 bottles a day, which is ridiculous at such price and hot weather especially in peak season.

We arrived here on the 5th November and it was just quite stunning. Our room was a pool access room which was cleaned every day or on demand if we had a lazy day! Breakfast selection was quite good but the staff were delightful and very nice. Highly recommend

Tastefully designed hotel. Spacious room. It would have been better if the different blocks were connected by sheltered walkways. Breakfast was delicious with limited options, but the pool was beautiful and large. Staff were generally friendly. Do note that there are several cats within the hotel. This resort is also very popular among Chinese tourists.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional.The pool was clean and the room service was great. All staffs are friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend who want to stay in Kata. You can book surf class in front of hotel. Location to Kata beach just 10 minutes walking distance.

Nice pool area , chairs around the pool are available even when hotel is fully booked. Located close to night market, a bit off the main street, which make la it calm, you’d need to walk to the sea for 15 min or so. Rooms are clean, good aircon, comfortable mattress. Gym is small, can maximum accommodate 5 people , but equipped well for holiday place, there is rack of dumbbells, squat rig and cable machine, treadmills. Breakfast is ok as well. Overall nice place to stay.

The hotel location is like 15 minutes walking to Kata Beach with a nice pool. There are plenty of restaurants within the 10 minutes walking distance and so it is fine, as the hotel is locating in a pretty quiet area. However, the hygiene and the maintenance of the hotel can be improved, as there is damage on the pillow case, smelling of urine in the shower room and also no repair for the lighting in the room. Besides seems the housekeeper will not vacuum the floor as we saw hairs from the last guest(s) when we check in. Really hope the cleanliness and hygiene can be improved.

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast, good pool (though would perhaps have liked it to be a little deeper in places). Really friendly staff. Location is fine, though a 10-15 walk to the beach, wasn't really a problem though and hotel puts on a tuk tuk if you want. Would definitely stay again.

By far the best hotel we ever stayed at kata beach. The rooms are huge comfortable and well cleaned. The bed is excellent as well. Plenty of breakfast options. A working gym!! The impressive pool area adds extra value. Overall nothing to complain expect the water pressure and temperature is a bit hard to control. 5 stars! Stuff is helpful and friendly. Thanks for the relaxing time.

On the surface it is a really nice hotel. However throughout our stay we noticed small things like quality of sheets and towels, the breakfast buffet was not great. But the pool is nice and the staff friendly.
