The hotel is good with a green beautiful area. The rooms are comfortable, large bed, wardrobe, TV, air conditioning, fan and refrigerator. They are not cleaned every day and you need to ask at the reception. The bathroom is fenced off from the street by a mesh. Accordingly, while you are washing, you can meet bugs that have leaked through this mesh. Breakfast is very poor. There is only 1 dish to choose from and the portion is small. Otherwise, the hotel is gorgeous, it’s a 3-minute walk to the sea, the beach is clean, there’s a gorgeous view, the receptionists speak English, you can always contact them and they’ll help you. The pool is clean, there are many sun loungers around it. The area itself is quiet. I recommend this hotel to families and couples who want a quiet, relaxing holiday by the sea.

Wir haben zuvor schon 6 Nächste ”in dieser Ecke” im Coco Palm verbracht und sind zum Ende für unsere letzten 6 Nächte zurück nach Ong Lang und haben uns für das Kingo entschieden. Es liegt nicht direkt am Strand (mehr zum Strand lest ihr in der Coco Palm Bewertung) aber es hat eine herrliche ruhige und versteckte Lage. Mit dem Roller gar kein Problem. Es gibt zwei Wege von denen man das Kingo anfahren kann. Wir empfehlen den Weg vom Elwood Resort aus, da es schneller, kürzer und auch die Straße besser ist. Es gibt kostenlose Fahrräder, einen Kostenlosen One-way Shuttel-Service von ODER zum Flughafen und einen kostenlosen Bobby-Car Service für die umliegenden 1-2 Kilometer. Das Frühstück ist lohnenswert und sehr entspannt. Leider auch hier nur bis 10 Uhr. Bei der Ankunft wurde wir in einen Private Garden Bungalow geführt, hatten jedoch einen Bungalow am Pool gebucht (diese sind einfach größer und nochmal hübscher in Bad und Zimmer--entsprechend zahlt man etwas mehr) -es wäre wohl nicht das erste mal gewesen das die Buchungsagentur das falsch übermittelt hat, wie wir erfahren haben. Es musste also erstmal geklärt werden.. ging am Ende aber gut aus. Wir haben nochmal 20 Min. gewartet und dann den ursprünglich gebuchten Bungalow bezogen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Bad auch schön groß mit Dusche und Wanne. Alles sehr sauber! Leider sind die Pool Bungalows Doppelhälften und EXTREM hellhörig. Wenn man sich mit den Türen von Bad und Bungalow keine Mühe gibt ( bzw auch die Nachbarn), dann sitzt man morgens direkt im Bett oder lauscht den Diskussionen der Nachbarn). Das ist aber auch schon das einzige was es auszusetzen gibt. Mir war die Matratze etwas zu hart (hatte mich die 5 Nächste zuvor im Lahana schon mit dem Brett von einem Bett gequält), weshalb es ab der 2. Nacht einen Topper gab... und schwupps, alles war super. Das Resort hatte nicht so viele aber oft wechselnde Gäste zu unserer Zeit, was natürlich sehr angenehm war! Der Poolbereich war ruhig, sehr gepflegt (wie die ganze Anlage) und lädt wirklich zum entspannen ein, wenn da nicht der Strand in der Nähe wäre :) -für unseren Abreisetag aber perfekt. Wir hätten trotz Leerstand die Hälfte vom Zimmerpreis zahlen müssen, wenn wir 3 Std länger drin bleiben wollten, weshalb wir das Gepäck an der Rezeption geparkt und im Gym abschließend geduscht haben (ach ja, der Fitnessraus ist ein Abstellraum und taugt nicht wirklich was... nutzt aber auch keiner). So lies es sich noch prima bis zum Abend aushalten, auch ohne Zimmer. Ein fehlendes Entgegenkommen was wir schon oft anders erlebt haben aber ok.. Business bleibt Business.. da ist man hier eben straight. Das Restaurant war uns zu teuer, da gibt es genügend in der Umgebung, auf die man ausweichen kann. Es sind viele kleine Leguane und Eidechsen, Geckos, Schmetterlinge, Schnecken und so weiter unterwegs. Es ist wirklich richtig schön und ruhig hier. Excellent service, convenient location, and extremely helpful staff. I'm in utter love with this place. The décor of the brand-new room was sophisticated and elegant. The hotel employees provided excellent service, which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Leila, in particular, was kind and thoughtful in setting everything up for us, and she always comes with a big, genuine smile, which makes us even happier. She went above and above to make my stay as enjoyable as possible by planning my routes to visit various locations on my own, explaining in detail how to get there, and reserving my ticket to the airport. We want to express our gratitude for making our experience spectacular and incredibly memorable. Overall experience can be expressed in 3 syllables Fa Bu Lous, can’t wait to go back.

After being stuck at home for the past 3 years and watching replays of Getaway, we finally got out of Australia and arrived in Phu Quoc. Stepping out of the taxi we were warmly greeted by the concierge staff with the traditional 'Xin Chao' as they escorted us into the beautiful Movenpick Resort foyer. Immediately my wife and I felt relaxed. This was what we had missed during COVID, escaping our busy lives and enjoying such beautiful resorts. Check-in was seamless and we were in our room in no time. I had an issue with our room and spoke to Linh at reception who was so nice and professional, and quickly resolved the situation. And in a flash we were by gorgeous pool and enjoying tropical cocktails. We spent the next 3 days laying around the pool, in the sun loungers looking out into the ocean, taking naps in the hammocks between the palm trees and enjoying the ocean breeze as we watched the sunsets. The Spa was amazing and one of the best we've experienced. The pre-spa sauna, stream room and spa baths was sooo relaxing. Breakfast was a feast to the eyes with delicious authentic Vietnamese food and a great international selection. The afternoons were spent devouring all sorts of enticing desserts during Chocolate Hour (and all for free, what a bonus!) We loved spending our evenings at Aura Beach Club as Vu was so helpful and attentive. He even got the whole team to sing Happy Birthday to me which was such a pleasant surprise. When we returned to our room, Linh and the reception team had organised a birthday cake and some gifts from the Resort. So sweet! It's things like this that make our holidays even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed Movenpick Resort Phu Quoc and the wonderful staff that made it so special. We will be back! and will bring all our families and friends :)

This was the most amazing holiday I have ever had. I stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every day in spite of visiting during the rainy season. From the moment of arrival Tram, the customer service manager, and his team ensured a warm welcome and a swift check in process in a relaxing environment with a welcome drink. All staff from the porters - we were welcomed by Bo who ensured to show us all aspects of our room and personally escorted us to the bar where we could get delicious food and cocktails - were professional and provided excellent customer service. The location is breath-taking - right on the beach with an infinity pool if you don't want to dip into the ocean. SUP and canoes are available for hire or you can just relax in the midst of the immaculate cultivated gardens or on the beach. Food and drink are available 24/7 with room service alongside a pool bar, separate bar with pool table and a dining restaurant with superb ocean views. Scooters and bicycles are also available for rent to explore the area but you can also walk easily to the main road and to a couple of local shops. The cocktails, fresh fruit juices and smoothies were superb with an amazing breakfast buffet which surpassed all expectations served in the tree top restaurant with a breathtaking view over the ocean and infinity pool. Pastries, freshly cooked Vietnamese omelettes, alongside noodles, cereal, toast, amazingly fresh fruit and Vietnamese coffee are all available in abundance. During the day there is a great selection at the pool bar or in the bar as well as the Ocean Restaurant in the evening for cocktail hour and an evening meal that has an open kitchen and is sited on a jetty with spectacular open ocean views. Everything was freshly cooked with a well thought out curated menu great options, including Pho, fresh steak, fresh fish, pizzas and pasta. The restaurant staff was extremely attentive and friendly - we were served by Khahn who was especially friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was jungle luxe with fabulous design, great attention to detail, excellent service and 100% tranquility surrounded by the jungle with all mod cons with direct access to a private beach. Highly recommended to relax and detox from the modern world. No need to leave the resort for the duration of your trip.

The resort is large and beautiful. It takes half a kilometer to walk from the room to the lobby and restaurant. You can also call the shuttle bus. The beach is long and there are many deck chairs. I really like the room. It's very unique. It's completely different from the regular hotel style. I stayed here for three nights and had an excellent accommodation experience (inevitably there are often beetles running in as roommates). Unfortunately, the majority of the guests during my stay were white people. I am a Chinese male traveling alone. The guards usually gave me unfriendly looks when I entered and exited the resort. Once, I was even chased by the guard and asked, ”I don't understand Vietnamese.” And he didn't try to make me understand his request. We were in a stalemate for several minutes before I found the room key and showed it to him. Frankly it was a terrible feeling, I knew the guard was just doing his job and I just believed there was a better way to handle this situation. (The only time I received a proactive and cordial greeting from a guard was when I was carrying a bag from Konkong Mart. It seemed that I had to look like a tourist enough 😂)

We had the pleasure of staying at the Camia resort during the last week of December. It exceeded our expectations and we loved the intimate feel of the resort. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and I would especially like to mention Nhi (Katty) at reception who is a real gem. She went out of her way to make us feel at home, give us advice and made my husband’s birthday special by organizing a small cake and for our bed to be beautifully decorated. They all made us feel like family and that is why we would love to stay there again should we ever return to Phu Quoc. If your budget allow it, I would highly recommend staying in an Ocean villa. It is not only spacious with a lovely view from the balcony, but the open air rain shower is so romantic. We also loved the infinity pool and to relax next to it during happy hour and watching the sky change from a deep orange to many shades of pink. The cocktails are delicious and the setting of the restaurant lovely overlooking the ocean. We did find the food at the restaurant being hit and miss and this is the only thing I feel need improvement. There are many restaurants in close proximity and I can recommend “On the Rocks”. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly, a few more western options would be nice. We were very impressed with the Christmas party hosted on Christmas eve. The decor was lovely and the food delicious. The gardens in the resort are so well kept with wild flowers and lots of green trees and plants. The use of the kayaks are for free, you just need to book in advance. I did not get to try out the spa but it’s located conveniently next to the pool. The complimentary transportation from the airport was also much appreciated. If in doubt where to stay, just book this little paradise. You will not be sorry !!!!

Pros: The beach and sea of the hotel are the biggest advantages, it is super suitable for people who enjoy the beach. The beaches of several hotels are linked together, which are wide, clean, quiet and very comfortable, whether it is a swimming or snorkeling experience. The supporting facilities are also in place. After check-in, you can enjoy the beach and the sea with ease. The hotel room can basically see the beautiful sunset. Hotel service is also very good, The service is in place and the initiative will not be too enthusiastic. Breakfast is well-formed, suitable for people like me who have a bad stomach and need to consider a fitness meal, which basically meets the needs. Disadvantages: If you want to go to other restaurants for lunch or dinner, you need to walk for about ten to fifteen minutes to get to a small town. There are delicious restaurants in the town, but also street food, supermarkets, massage shops and so on. Walking in the afternoon is very dry, and the street lights are not very bright at night. Those who are single to play have to think about it. I am afraid of walking in the evening. But there are several good restaurants in town, and local Vietnamese noodles are delicious.

We were truly impressed by the hospitality andf attention to detail. They made our stay extra special and I can honestly say that we would go back to it. This beautiful resort has its own private beach and it's absolutely breathtaking. The food could dfo with variety but the breakfast was delicious. We travel a lot and this is definitely one of our favourite places of all times. The staff was absolutely amazing and super helpful and friendly. It was our anniversary and they surely pull out all stops. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Make sure to go for the snorkeling...the guide is great and very professional and fun. Quite remote from the main road hotel with a closed area along the beach. The beach is beautiful, authentic and rocky with a wide sandy beach in two places, the water is clear, there are algae in some places, the sunsets look especially beautiful here, the beach is lined with various sun loungers, a beautiful gazebo for massage on the shore, swings and hammocks, a net over the water, a raft 30 meters from the shore, free kayaks, a clean large pool in front of the beach bar, two beautiful restaurants, for breakfast on a hill overlooking the sea and a second restaurant for dinner (Sunset) at the beginning of a long beach, along which there are several types of villas. Most of the villas along the shore are double with spacious rooms, there is access to the sandy beach, on the right side of the Sunset restaurant there are villas with a direct view from the balcony to the beautiful rocky shore, a couple of villas are with three rooms, (with their own small pool on the terrace, in the middle a small room with a terrace and on the left a room with a bathroom on the terrace), the rest are double rooms with large rooms and a shower room. The disadvantage of combining rooms is soundproofing, which is not there at all, one of the reasons is thin walls and a common open ceiling in the shower room to the roof of the roof, with neighboring showers, so everything is heard in neighboring rooms. Tolerable if the neighbors are quiet. The hotel has seven categories: 1. One bedroom pool villa. (two rooms, villas to the right of the Sunset restaurant, swimming pools on the balcony, 2.Beach front villa (villas with direct access to the sandy beach, the best villas). 3.Sea view villa (large villas with sea views). 4.Ocean front villa with bathtub (villas with a rectangular jacuzzi on the balcony, sea view) 5.Panorama (large villas on a hill with an upper sea view) 6.Deluxe sea view.(the smallest in area and a small shower room) 7.Deluxe garden view (garden-view villas are in the middle, but there is a partial sea view. Claim to the hotel about some discrepancy between the information and photos of the rooms provided on the booking sites; the middle room is the smallest and is classified in the hotel as Deluxe sea view, in two aggregators this room is called “Villa with Sea View”, with an area of 50 m2, in the information there is a photo of a large bathroom with two washbasins. The actual area of the entire room is slightly more than 30 m2. Incorrect information that significantly distorts the choice when booking. And the photo of the shower room in this room is not true. Fast WiFi with occasional interruptions in communication, a little interfered with remote work, there is no wired Internet (wire was only in Radisson). Checked the quality of tap water (water hardness tester). The lowest water hardness rating among hotels in Fukuoka where I have stayed. Water is purified by reverse osmosis, the only way to purify it almost to a distilled state, the water is very soft from the tap, comfortable for the skin. Cleanliness and tidiness on the territory and on the beach, the prices for the SPA and the restaurant are a little high, but acceptable. Sometimes there are difficulties with calling a taxi through the Grab application due to the remote location from the city center, the cost to the night market is about 250-300K. Would recommend for a relaxing or romantic getaway.
