Would i stay again? Absolutely!
Pros
Bicycle provided to enjoy the nearby rice fields, local country lanes - you can even ride into town to enjoy the river, museums, restaurants and many temples. I really enjoyed a few hours out on the bicycle, even though it was old and rusty.
The food menu is good, lots of seafood options but other options too, from western to local. The food is high quality, although the ribs maybe had too much overpowering layers of flavours. The restaurant is a very chill vibe, high quality furniture and decoration but with reasonable prices. Loads of drink options, from cocktails to beer, a huge selection of wines etc. Very impressive bar.
No toothbrush/toothpaste but good quality gels, shampoo, lotion provided.
If you don't pay extra for breakfast, complimentary toast with some homemade jams and a coffee are still provided.
The resort organised motorbike rental (its always best to go through the resort/hotel in Thailand). 450 a day which is probably the most I've paid, however I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of days touring the local area, travelling south to Sao Din Na Noi and in the north, Doi Phu Kha National Park. Incredible trip, stunning scenery. Highly recommended.
The owners are always there if you need them, either to have a chat or answer questions. Staff were very friendly with good English.
Someone said in a review that the rooms were old with dim lights - this is completely untrue. The rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional Thai style but at the same time feel new. The balcony of some rooms have stunning rice field and mountain views but if you don't have that, walk a few metres to the fields with lots of seating to enjoy the views.
The gardens around the rooms are well taken care of.
Trips can be booked through the hotel.
Bottled water provided in room (complimentary) with a well-stocked mini bar if you want extra drinks or snacks (charged but no price list seemed to be there).
Cons
There is no safe for passport, cash etc in room
No kettle in room even though coffee, sugar was there 😅 but if you pay to upgrade or booked the mountain view room, there will be a coffee machine
There is no mosquito repellant by pool, in the restaurant or in rooms - possibly because they are usually burning or flammable liquid which wouldn't go well with a resort made entirely of wood! Some electric options maybe?
Can hear motorbikes/cars occasionally on the nearby road and almost a constant sound carried across the rice fields from the distant main road. However, this is Thailand and i'm not sure this can be avoided, anywhere.
As with most hotels, the light switch situation is unnecessarily overcomplicated.
The restaurant charges for ice buckets and bottled water is almost poured without specifically asking, and is charged.

BBankanandaConvenient transportation, near the airport, not very hot, but the location and bedroom are clean, neat, very good service, there is a chance to go to rest again 🥰
KKanokwonDelicious food, very good accommodation, good atmosphere, good service staff. But some people look not smiling like a fuss It makes us feel bad, lose the mood like Ia.
แแสนรักThe accommodation is near Phra That Chae Haeng. Walk about 250 meters from the accommodation. The room is spacious. Adding one more bed is not uncomfortable. The room and bathroom are clean. The service staff is very good and attentive to customers. Provides a very good answer-answer service.
LLittle CocoonThe male staff at night shift service is very good. Come to wait to pick up since the car turns in. Always ask if you can help carry the luggage. Seeing that there are elderly people, they change the room from the second floor to the first floor, recommend a very good room. Location near Phra That Chae Haeng. Not very far into town Ample parking, there is a swimming pool. It must have a little musty smell. But overall it is clean, there is a refrigerator, kettle, shower machine, coffee, in the morning there is breakfast bread and coffee. Next time I will come to rest again, very good value.
OochyanDuring the year-end and New Year holidays, I traveled from Chiang Mai to northern Thailand, and finally visited Nan and stayed for the longest for about 5 days. The place I stayed was in a quiet and small village about 5 km away from the center of Nan, about 12 ~ 13 minutes by car. The village had a nostalgic atmosphere that reminiscent of the Japanese countryside, and it was a very calm place.
During my stay, I took a taxi using GRAB to go back and forth between the inn and downtown Nan. When you go out to the suburbs, you can rent a motorcycle at the inn, so there is no inconvenience in moving.
The inn has been open for two years, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the ceiling is high and comfortable. The room was used by one person for two people, and the price was high during the year-end and New Year holidays, but I think it was good to choose it. I was able to enjoy the natural scenery from the balcony. Let's get up in the morning with the chickens in the next house.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in Thai home cooking. Is it the taste of my mother in Japan? I ate and bought dinner outside, but GRAB is also available.
There are only small shops around, so let's finish shopping in the city center. Beer can be purchased at the inn and shop.
When foreigners stay, this accommodation is recommended to those who can plan and act on their own. If you have any problems during your stay, you can consult the administrator's aunt who lives next door and get various advice and preparations. Also, if you connect with the owner (administrator daughter) in Phuket by LINE, it will respond in Japanese, so you can solve various problems. Nan is a very nice area. We recommend staying 4-5 day. Enjoy your trip based on this inn.
It is better for those who aim at Nan to enter Nan Airport directly. I had a ticket to Bangkok from Chiang Mai, but I disabled it and flew from Nan Airport to Bangkok.
