a unique experience in a wonderful place with a super team, everything was perfect. we landed at khum lanna after a two weeks trip through the north of Thailand and it was the absolute top event, even we staid there only for two full days. the early morning excursion by bike we made with John and the thai cooking lessons we received by his wife (we believe) were just fantastic. whenever you have the chance visit khum lanna!

This place is just beautiful. It has wonderful teak buildings made from reclaimed local wood and has been beautifully designed. It is set in a beautiful hilly landscape surrounded by paddy fields. The courses here are designed to give guests a real taste of Thai village life. We loved the cooking course and the market trip, the staff couldn't do more for you and the cuisine was superb. We even took some bikes and went off for an explore on our own. The staff here are all local and Khum Lanna has a really ethical feel, and contributes to the community in many ways. Really wonderful place that we didn't want to leave.

Eine Oase! - Wir haben 2 wunderbare Tage/Nächte im Khum Lanna verbracht, es war ein Höhepunkt unserer Thailand-Reise. Das abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Kochkursen, Radtouren, lokale Märkte, Massage, Botanik, vielfältigen Informationen zu Land und Leuten hat uns sehr begeistert. Sehr, sehr gutes Essen und herzliche Gastgeber.

We hardden een 3 daagse experience geboekt met 4 personen. Het was allemaal erg goed georganiseerd. Was erg schoon . De cooking class was erg leuk. Kregen goede uitleg over alle kruiden en groenten.Alles was duidelijk en over heerlijk.Kregen zelfs een recepten Boekje mee. De fietstocht naar locale markten was een leuke ervaring. Er is een mooi restaurant bij ,waar alles leuk geserveerd en opgediend wordt.

Une petite structure très bien intégrée dans l'environnementet parfaitement au calme. Un personnel disponible et chaleureux. Des activités variées. La cuisine est bonne (mais c'est vous qui la faite 😀) Seul bémol : le type de construction lmplique la totale absence d'isolation par rapport à la chambre voisine (Sacher éviter les ronfleurs)

Aunque solo hayamos pasado un día en este hotel, han sido sin lugar a duda las 24 horas más especiales de nuestro viaje. Entre las preciosas instalaciones, la deliciosa comida y el espléndido personal que nos ha hecho sentir como en casa, ha sido una experiencia memorable. En tan solo 1 día hemos podido disfrutar de masajes, clases de cocina, tours en bici al amanecer e incluso expediciones a la jungla. Este lugar es una oportunidad única, no solo para adentrarse más afondo en la cultura tailandesa, sino que también para desconectar del día a día y ver la vida desde otro punto de vista. Destacamos la limpieza y la organización, pero ante todo el cariño y el trato recibido. Dejamos el lugar con mucha pena, pero con grandes ganas de volver. Hasta pronto, kob kun ka!!

Très belle expérience dans ce Lodge où nous avons passé une nuit. Le lieu est superbe, l'hôtel et toute la propriété est en teck, la décoration est jolie. Le lieu est calme, en pleine nature au milieu d'un jardin très bien entretenu avec multiples variétés de plantes à vertus médicinales. Un programme dès l'arrivée est annoncé avec des horaires à respecter: pour nous, atelier cuisine pour le repas de midi puis musée du riz, puis séance de massage thai (agréable et surprenant), puis visite commentée du jardin et enfin atelier cuisine du soir. Le lendemain balade à vélo tôt le matin et visite d'un marché local. On ne voit pas le temps passer... Tout le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse et souriant. Les propriétaires ont réussi à faire de ce lieu une parenthèse hors du temps. Cela fait beaucoup de bien. A noter: le lieu est calme en dehors du chant des moines du temple voisin assez tôt le matin il n'y a pas de WiFi ni de télévision. Il vaut mieux avoir un forfait 4G pour pouvoir communiquer. Et la douche n'est pas très chaude. Mais je conseille fortement ce mini séjour. Bravo aux propriétaires et à toute l'équipe .

Endroit magnifique. Accueil exceptionnel 👍 Très satifait de cette expérience. A ne pas manquer. Nous avons pu profiter de conseils culinaires en Français. Nous sommes repartis avec un manuel complet des recettes locales en Français également. Nous avons visité 2 Marchés typiques, ainsi que le jardin qui comprend une multitude de plantes et arbres medicinaux dont nous avons pris connaissance grâce aux explication éclairé de notre guide. Nous savons également tout sur la culture et la production du riz. Vous ne regretterez pas le détour 🙏

Beautiful, tranquil spot in the Thai countryside. Surrounded by rice paddy fields. Great cookery classes, gardens, accommodation, activities and food. Highly recommend for a couple of nights. Stayed in a family room, which was massive. Beds a little hard
