I recently spent two nights at the Comfy Japanese Style Hotel, Kinnotel, and had a pleasant stay. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
Room and Amenities:
Japanese Style Design: The room featured a charming Japanese aesthetic, with traditional decor that added a unique touch to the stay.
Room Comfort: The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit small. However, it was well-maintained and perfectly acceptable for a short stay.
Convenient Laundry: One of the highlights was the availability of a washing machine and dryer. For just 90 baht, I was able to do my laundry, which was very convenient.
Location:
Central Location: The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the town.
Nearby Amenities: There are several food stalls nearby, and the Big C Supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient for picking up essentials.
Overall, my stay at Kinnotel was comfortable and convenient, especially for those looking to experience a blend of traditional Japanese design with modern amenities in a central location.
I am a 63-year-old retired man from Taiwan. I traveled independently in the northern provinces of Thailand. This hotel I booked in Phrae Province is very suitable for me. The hotel operators are a friendly couple who can communicate in English. They have two children. I saw them while having breakfast and thought they were very smart and they should do well in school in the future. The boss told me I and they have been to Taiwan a few months ago, and I welcome them to visit Taiwan again if they have the opportunity.

The receptionist is smiling. Below the accommodation is a cafe with coffee, cakes, on the 3rd floor, there is a seat to eat. Plus, there is a fish and coffee service in the morning as well.
The hotel appears to have been recently renovated; it looks new and very appealing. Breakfast was decent enough. The location is convenient, with parking available at the rear of the hotel. The shower screen in the bathroom is quite narrow, and a lot of water splashes out into the dry area after showering. The shower head holder is fixed at a single level, making it impossible to adjust downwards. If the hotel could make the shower head adjustable, it would greatly help reduce the splashing. Making the shower screen wider might make entry and exit awkward, which is probably why it's kept narrow. Alternatively, a shower curtain would definitely prevent water from splashing out, though it might not look as aesthetically pleasing.
New hotel, clean, good location, easy to find, but the entrance and exit of the hotel is just a bit. The room is clean, the mattress and pillows are soft, sleep well, complete facilities, good service staff, beaming.
The entrance alley is just right for the car. But when turning into the hotel, at the cover, there is a little problem when checking in. In booking through the app But let's check in first Then the staff check and inform the results .. Let's continue to the room. Open the room, it smells very clean, the most fragrant from my heart, I like it very much. Soft bed, comfortable pillows, the bathroom is the most proportional, there is a bathtub, separate toilet and shower room on both sides. The central area has a swimming pool. But did not soak The weather is cold 😅 Overall, it's good.
The hotel is close to the bus stop but far from the city. There is only one restaurant opposite the hotel around. I stayed for three nights and dinner was in the same restaurant every night because there was no choice. Fortunately, the restaurant was affordable and delicious. There is no place to shop, there is no seven-year-old, there is no hot water bottle in the room, pay attention.
