We stayed only 1 night as a transit from our trip in Arizona to Vegas. Upon driving in, the hotel has a sizable entrance for drop off and valet, we did self parking but it was not difficult for me to locate where it is, and there’s also plenty of spots inside the covered lot. The lobby is impressively big, spacious, and neatly designed. Most of the area features soaring ceilings, with modern chandeliers, very well lit, and plenty of lounging spaces. There’s a bar, a wine vault, a convenience store, an executive lounge, a restaurant called Carcara. The convenience store carries one of the comprehensive collections I’ve seen, from typical needs like meds, toiletries, feminine products, to shoes, clothes and hats, to food and drinks, to jewelries, to crystals, to sunscreens, to bags, to tide pens and more. My husband did the check in while I parked the car and he told me the gentleman at check in was very friendly and helpful, and the whole process was quick and seamless. As part of our Titanium elite status, we got offered an upgrade to a suite with a great view of Phoenix downtown, we also got an F&B credit to use since they charge a resort fee to begin with. The room itself is beautiful, nice living area with a separate toilet, our en-suite is spacious, the bed is big and comfortable, and the bathroom has dual sinks, a good shower with good pressure and responsive cold to hot temperature change, and a nice smelling body wash / shampoo / conditioner. The overall decor of the hotel and our room reminded us of places we stayed at while living in New Zealand. Everything seems new and is kept in near pristine condition, the decor style, color combination, incorporation of woods, and the lighting used, all came together nicely and is chic. The restaurant Carcara, was impressive overall, the decor is eye-catching, both the menu and food portion sizes are just right, our server was friendly, and the food was delicious. Throughout our dinner, we saw an older gentleman in suit walking around and checking on all tables. By the time we were wrapping up our mains, the older gentleman came to address us again, and somehow became our server in getting our plates away and also getting us the desert menu and taking our order, he was very hands on and turns out he’s one of the managers, it was great to see management level physically participate and take care of things. We also checked out the gym and the pool, both are phonemes for a city hotel. First off, the gym is huge, with lots of new / well maintained equipments, good enough for an actual proper workout. The pool is a good size, and the best thing was the placement of the pool, it’s one of those rare pools that get sun from sunrise to sunset, so you can go anytime and still get sun. We didn’t get to spend too much time at both the gym and the pool because we had to catch a flight but for the limited time that we were there, it was very enjoyable. Great hotel within the US overall, and we will defin
