During selection do not realised is “special need rooms” this is not comfort stay. The only +ve is the room is easy access to parking. Hotel have Starbucks cafe which is also +ve point

The hotel did not give me a breakfast voucher when I checked in, even though my rate included breakfast. I had to ask for one in the morning when I discovered they charged for breakfast. When I checked out, they charged me for the room when I had already paid through Trip.com. I had to call them to get a credit processed. The rate they charged me was $132, but I paid Trip.com $162, so it wasn’t cheaper with Trip.com. The breakfast was very good though, I had avocado toast.

DO NOT STAY HERE – FILTHY ROOMS & HORRIBLE SERVICE If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Sonesta Select Phoenix Camelback was one of the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel. 1. RUDE & INDIFFERENT FRONT DESK SERVICE From the moment I checked in, the front desk agent (a male employee, didn’t get his name) was cold, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He barely explained the amenities, and when I had to ask where the gym was, his answers were vague and uninterested. I chalked it up to a long day for him and let it go—but I shouldn’t have. 2. DISGUSTING ROOM CONDITIONS When I entered my room, I was hit with a terrible smell. Upon closer inspection, I found: - A visible stain on the bed sheets (see photos). - Hair in the sink as if housekeeping had skipped cleaning entirely. - A yellow-stained bathtub that made it clear this hotel doesn’t prioritize cleanliness. I was disgusted. No guest should ever have to deal with such poor hygiene in a hotel room. 3. HOSTILE RESPONSE FROM STAFF I went to the front desk to ask for a new room. Instead of apologizing or handling the situation professionally, the same agent huffed in annoyance, rolled his eyes, and snapped, “So, is the room dirty?” When I said yes, he angrily banged on the keyboard and rudely asked, “Do you want a King?” After I said yes, he continued being rude and dismissive, telling me that if the next room wasn’t clean, I couldn’t switch again because the hotel was “sold out.” I told him I normally don’t complain, and he waved his hands at me, saying, ‘Yeah, yeah.’ This was completely unacceptable. 4. MANAGEMENT GASLIGHTING & REFUSING A REFUND When I addressed my concerns with the general manager, Rachel, I expected a professional and apologetic response. Instead, she was just as dismissive, claiming she had “never heard that” about the employee. Even after I showed her photo evidence of the dirty room, she implied I was lying and insisted there was “nothing wrong” with the room. At that point, I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel, which took me a long time since surrounding hotels were sold out. To make matters worse, Sonesta REFUSED to refund my first night, even though I stayed in their filthy room for less than 10 minutes. They had no concern for customer satisfaction or basic hospitality—just pure arrogance and gaslighting. BOTTOM LINE: AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS - The rooms are disgusting. - The staff is rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. - The management refuses to take responsibility for terrible conditions. This was not just an inconvenient experience—it was a disrespectful and unacceptable one. Sonesta should be ashamed of how they run this property. Save yourself the trouble and book anywhere else. Best hotel in Phoenix. The staff and the hotel was amazing and friendly. I will return in the near future.

Overnight getaway Nice and comfortable. Clean room, nice pool. Covered parking. Friendly staff. Great location for shopping and dining. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Lobby and inner courtyard were spetacular. Well designed. Outstanding location in Town and Country, Collonade and Biltmore shopping centers
