Excellent Stay at Fairfield Phnom Penh!
I had a fantastic experience at the Fairfield by Marriott in Phnom Penh. The hotel is modern, clean, and exceptionally well-maintained. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, with great views of the city. I especially appreciated the rooftop bar and pool—perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Location-wise, it’s conveniently situated near key attractions and the riverfront. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers!
Not a great location unless you need to be in the Toul Kork area. Quiet area and nice rootop pool (you have to go all the way down to reception to ask for towels for the pool as there are none up there).
Housekeeping only cleaned once in 4 night stay. Had to to go to reception to ask for clean towels and water every day as there is no phone in the room.
There is no socket (for hairdryer/ tooth brush) in the bathroom and no mirrors elsewhere. Also no iron and iron boarding - this is strange for a serviced apartment. They went out to buy an iron and ironing board. The iron was not steam iron so takes a long time to use.
Although the apartment is clean, I would not recommend this place (especially for a business traveller) and regret having stayed in this serviced apartment.
First time in Granferte. Looks like an office building outside.
Room layout is nice and practical. Ideal service apartment.
dismerit is both towels are totally torn! Really Surprised me if the room attendant had a fight with the boss. Amenities have 2 Razors, 2 Soaps, 2 Lotions, 2 Conditioners, 4 Shampoos with 1 bottle half empted but no shower gel?!
This is an impact to such nice hotel.

Clean facilities and friendly staff.
The hotel room is a single room.
Very nice hotel from classical timber and sculptures in foyer to the spacious professionally styled and well stocked rooms.
In the last 12 months I've stayed in around 20 hotels throughout Phnom Penh and jaya suites would have to be the best so far. Very good amenities, very nice rooms, affordable, very fancy roof top area with pool and views of the city, and great food from the restaurant.
The room was good overall, 45 USD a day, excluding breakfast. The air conditioning was great. But a deposit of 50 USD was required. After checking out, the male waiter asked me to add WeChat, saying that it would be convenient to inform me of any items I had left behind. But during the Chinese New Year, he asked for red envelopes on WeChat and sent me the payment code of ABA Bank. This was something I didn't expect, but I would not give it to him in this way.
I recently stayed at Amanda Hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive, making check-in and every interaction smooth and pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.
One of the standout features was the location—conveniently situated close to local attractions and public transport, which made getting around the area easy and enjoyable. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere in the hotel, which made it perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
The breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of options. The hotel also offered reliable Wi-Fi and efficient housekeeping services throughout my stay.
If I had to mention an area for improvement, it would be helpful to have a bit more variety in room service options, but this is a minor note in an otherwise excellent stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Amanda Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. I’d definitely consider coming back.
The setting was wonderful, and the facilities were decent. The room was very spacious. However, a room with a view would have truly elevated the experience. I hope to return for another visit and explore more thoroughly next time.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel facilities are old and the equipment is aging. The air conditioner in the first room was as loud as the exhaust fan. I changed to another room. The maintenance next door knocked all afternoon after I checked in. The knocking started again at 9 o'clock the next day. I complained and it stopped.
AAmijiujiuThis apartment is actually quite good. It has a fairly large floor area for only 200-300 RMB. The decoration style is a bit old-fashioned. You can walk to the fun mall in Toul Kork and a number of restaurants nearby.
The reason I gave a low score for the service is that when I arrived at 11pm that night, the hotel door was already closed. No one answered my knocks, so I just stood there stupidly on the main road. Fortunately, the customer service of Black Diamond responded very quickly and started to help me immediately. Finally, after waiting at the door for 20 minutes, someone finally came to open the door and let me in (at the same time, Ctrip customer service was ready to arrange a nearby hotel for me). When I went in, they said that the room I originally booked was no longer available. I almost ran away. In the end, I was upgraded to a two-bedroom family room...
GGuest UserThe environment is very good. I thought it was a separate one-bedroom and one-living room, but it turned out to be a rectangular one-bedroom and one-living room. However, the environment is also very good and very suitable.
GGuest UserNicer than other guesthouses I stayed in. Slightly closer to the airport. Manager was awake at 6am to call me a taxi to the airport, good service.
MM15026****The price-performance ratio is quite high, the room is very spacious, the front desk can communicate fluently in English, and occasionally there are Chinese-speaking employees. Overall it is good. It would be better if it is equipped with a washing machine.
GGuest UserI chose this place for convenience. It is cheap and clean, but it is really average. I was woken up by the roosters nearby in the middle of the night. The breakfast is barely edible and simple.
