The hotel has a superior location, convenient transportation, complete facilities, clean and sanitary conditions, rich breakfast and a comfortable bar. It is an ideal place for leisure and vacation. I will choose it again next time I go there.

Each room at the Holland House is beautifully appointed and distinctly different from one another. You have a choice of a room near the pool and ones that open to a roof veranda. Decor include beautiful local and regional African artwork and historic photographs. The staff could not be more gracious and attentive. Breakfast offers an array of fresh seasonal fruits, cheeses, dried meat, cereal, coffee/latte/cappa and a full hot breaksfast with eggs any way, sausage and bacon. If you in Durbs on business or holiday, nothing beats a full body massage from the in-house masseuse! Hot rocks optional. Holland House is my go to for overnight or longer stays in Durban. (PS: I love rooms 9 and 10!)

Excellent location and free beach chairs and umbrella make this hotel a great choice for Philipsburg. Housekeeping does a pretty good job and the rooms are a nice size. It’s worth paying for the beach view. The food and drinks are good, but the menu is somewhat limited.

The best part of this hotel is the restaurant and proximity to shopping. The rooms are generic and could use a facelift. The air conditioning unit in our room was loud and defective. The parking lot is not on the premises and we had to beg for a key to open the gate. Finally received a key after two days. In the meantime hotel security had to open and close the gate for us. They were short on keys and gave the keys to people who checked in AFTER us. Very inconvenient. Would not stay here again.

Mooi hotel aan het strand in de hoofdstraat van het Nederlandse deel van Sint Maarten, vriendelijk personeel. Schone en ruime kamers met uitzicht over de zee. En de cruiseschepen terminal, het is iedere dag een verrassing als je de gordijnen opendoet wat er weer afgemeerd ligt. Het eten is ronduit goed en lekker. Het personeel in de bediening en achter de bar is behulpzaam en gezellig. Het is duidelijk een high-end locatie.

I stayed at Pete's Place - what a magical space! I will definitely stay again when next in Durban. Large rooms with fantastic views of Durban and the port. The decor is incredible!
