Manayunk Chambers Guest House

Stayed with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. Absolutely beautiful property nestled in Manayunk. Chambers is an easy walk to Main Street and the canal where there are tons of restaurants and attractions covering basically every cuisine and hobby you'd want. It's also far enough that you're sheltered from the noise and activity of those places; you can just as happily spend your entire trip on the property if you're a homebody who loves historic spaces. Mark, one of the hosts, gave us a free room upgrade and showed us the common space, a beautifully decorated historic lobby area with ambient piano music as well as complementary snacks and drinks (wine and beer both included). We were asked to provide times we could make breakfast the night before, because Mark was going to make it fresh for us. To our delight, there were fresh yogurt parfaits (catered to my ridiculous suite of allergies) ready as soon as we got down there. An S tier stay, we might make it a tradition every Valentine's!

Breakfast was a wonderful treat. There is a nice shower in the Parisian suite. I felt transported back in time. Lovely property. I will plan to stay here again. Mark was an excellent host. Thank you for your gracias hospitality. See you soon.

I love the decor and the attention to detail. Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed and everything was very clean. The breakfast that Mark ( the innkeeper) prepared was exceptional as well. He accommodated my wife's gluten sensitivity by baking gluten-free scones and muffins for her! The location was great too, only a few blocks to explore the main street in Manayunk.

My husband and I loved staying here. The claw foot tub was amazing. The decor is something out of a time capsule; just beautiful and unique and I felt pampered staying here. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, and the hosts are so hospitable and welcoming. One of the hosts even parallel parked my car for me when I was hesitant to. We plan on returning again!

The lobby area with TV and fruit/snacks and decor was very nice!

The house (inn) is even nicer than the pictures show. The room was unique (City Room), bed very comfortable, and we appreciated the delicious breakfast and the 24/7 coffee bar. Recommend it highly and would definitely return. Only suggestion, ask about the parking as it's on a narrow city street. Lucky for us the owner had one spot available. Would definitely stay there again!
