Element Philadelphia Downtown

I stayed at the Element hotel for one night. They checked me in 3 hours early with no extra charge! Huge thanks to them! The room was clean and spacious, with a wonderful view from the window. My room had a kitchen, equipped with a microwave, a fridge, and a coffee machine. For toiletries, there was shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, and a small bar of soap. No toothbrushes or other items were provided. In the evening, there are happy hours from 5 pm - 7 pm with complimentary drinks in the lobby: beer, wine, and cola. A modest breakfast is included, featuring scrambled eggs, ham, yogurts, tea/coffee, bananas, and pastries. I recommend this hotel.

Great view, friendly front desk, and a very clean room! They offer free bananas and water at the counter. Just a heads up, the convenience store next to the counter sells water for $5 a bottle.

The hotel is conveniently located near Philadelphia City Hall, making it easy to get to all the major attractions. The breakfast spread was substantial and satisfying. Thanks to the friendly staff, I had a very comfortable stay.

On the first night, I found bed bugs on the pillows in my room. The next day, I was moved to a different room and given a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor (even though I had already booked a high-floor room). The hotel's location is in the city center, a 7-minute walk to Reading Terminal Market, and a 30-minute walk to Old Town.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the metro station and right in the city center. The building itself is beautiful, but the room needed more maintenance due to various issues that could have been easily fixed. The breakfast was very good.

Highly recommend this hotel if you want to be right in the heart of Philadelphia.
