The appearance is different from the pictures shown on Ctrip. I was a little confused when I first arrived.

Brian is a very nice person. The room is clean and tidy.
He said the room I booked didn't have a private bathroom, so he upgraded it to one with a private bathroom.
Regarding this point, I can't see that the room type I booked does not have a private toilet on Ctrip. Anyway, I didn't notice it when I booked. I hope Ctrip's homepage can clearly indicate it.
There must be something wrong with the mattress. There must be no springs on one side. It doesn't matter if I sleep alone. I didn't notice it at the time. I just slept on the other side.
Brain asked me about the mattress this morning and I confirmed that it was a mattress problem.
And because there are schools nearby and there are parties nearby at night, it is quite noisy

We had a fabulous couple of nights over the holiday weekend. There is a beautiful quiet garden and porch to lounge on, and there are lovely antique pieces and decor all around. Brian the innkeeper was very helpful and attentive, and there was a great deal of information all around the common areas with things to do and see in the area. We stayed in the Franklin room, which was a bit small but quite comfortable and pretty, with a treetop view and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is a few steps down the hall, and was also very nice with a big shower and stained glass windows. There are robes in the room, which are a nice touch. I will say that if you are plus sized, you might want to bring your own. I am around a size 18 and was covered enough to go down the hall to the restroom in the middle of the night, but just barely. Also, the bed is pretty tall. There was a little step stool in the room that I used to get into it (I’m 5’2”) but if that seems awkward to you (it wasn’t the most stable step stool I’ve encountered, but it was fine) you might want to choose another room. The whole place was exceptionally clean and I appreciated the motion sensor lighting on the steps and in the hallway. Our breakfasts were excellent, and we loved the option of eating out on the porch. There were fresh baked goods available at all times, as well as an ice maker, and kitchenette with a coffee maker on the floor where our room was. Dining and recreation options around the inn were as one would expect in the midst of a college campus, but we had no trouble getting to public transportation to get downtown for dinner and sightseeing. Thank you so much for a perfect getaway for our anniversary. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place in a great location. We stayed here when coming to pick our son up at UPenn. Although it is farther out from campus than we usually stay (closer to Drexell campus) it is well worth it. Quiet neighborhood, free parking, and a 15 min walk to UPenn. Brian, the Innkeeper, was very friendly and helpful and his breakfast was amazing. It was so good that I actually asked for the recipe - which he shared with no problems at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend them and will stay there again!

Our stay was outstanding. From the warm, attentive and professional staff along with beautiful comfortable home, the delicious food and the beautiful grounds everything was amazing. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful weekend stay while visiting my daughter at Drexel University. The Cornerstone B&B accommodated my vegan and gluten free diet flawlessly. The food was super yummy. The bed was so comfortable. The Victorian decor was stunning and romantic. Our suite was quiet. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had the best experience ever. The neighborhood is safe and the house is secure. The innkeeper was genuinely welcoming and he ensured our every need was met. He and his assistants are real gems! Breakfasts were scrumptious, and my dietary requirements were carefully met. Every bit of our room and bathroom was immaculate and the decor was truly awesome in every sense of the word. We were stunned by the fireplace tiles in the dining room, original artwork of Maxfield Parrish, and the original stained glass windows are breathtaking. You will not be disappointed in any way if you stay here!
