Breathtaking! Unparalleled window view, location, decoration, friendly staff, clean room with whole-set gears!
Pool, public areas… all lovely.
Cleaning ladies come in 7 days, and you need your own toothbrush and slippers.

Gem of a hotel in Center City! Front desk was great, easy, quick check-in and responsive to any needs we had. Apartment was bright and spacious with modern decor. We made lots of use of the amenity floor with the pool and rec center. Would definitely come back if I stayed in Philly again!

We stayed in the East Roost Market for a long term stay (7 weeks) and got to know the place well. Simply put: it's fabulous. The room itself (2 bedroom, corner) was simply amazing with stunning views of City Hall, and containing all the amenities we could want. The pool was the highlight, however, as I had my 10 year old son with me. We were in that pool nearly every day splashing and playing. Finally, the staff were fantastic and I considered some of them friends by the time we left. Just a wonderful experience.

Renting an apartment at Roost East was our ‘dumb luck’ 🍀 . We wanted to spend July 4th week in Philly to enjoy the festivities- and we’re not familiar with Roost properties. We booked our stay, took the train to Philly and an Uber to the property. So convenient and easy. Upon arrival at Roost we were warmly greeted, the wonderful amenities were explained and given the pass keys to our ‘room’ and the building. We were immediately impressed and continued to be impressed with each contact with staff, exploration of the facility - it honestly exceeded our expectations at each and every turn! And the location was absolutely perfect to enjoy all that the city had to offer the week of July 4th. Highly recommend!!!!

our flat was spacious and comfortable - loved the view and location. our main bedroom was lovely, well furnished and very comfortable, but the small “bedroom” was tiny with just a cot and low quality linens. the extremely low water pressure was a problem… the pool was overcrowded all 3 days we stayed. no space at all. otherwise a nice place to stay overall. the staff was always friendly and accommodating.

Center City Philly is a tough -- very congested, at times filthy, and full of abandoned homeless/veterans/vagrants (in deep need of love and care). Yet, this Ludlow block shines--and Roost is in the Center of it all. The heart of Roost is the employees--unfailingly kind, responsive, funny and open-hearted. I loved coming home to see this gang of angels who always had a bright smile and a welcome "hello!" They consistently made my heart feel happy even when the world outside can be a bit much to digest. I tip my hat to every single one of them-- front desk reception, housekeeping, event planning, back-office and maintenance. Because I stayed for over a month, I had the ability to test and they never missed the mark. It's rare to see a hotel put so much effort into staffing, but it truly makes a huge difference. Thank you for always taking such good care of me.

The apartment was incredibly spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated — it felt more like a stylish home than a rental. I had a full-size kitchen, which was a huge plus, and everything was thoughtfully set up for comfort. The bedding was exceptionally cozy, and of course, the heated pool was the cherry on top. Amazing place overall — I’d definitely stay again!

A great location in East Market, and for our reason of visit approximately 2.5 miles from CHOP (~16-25 minutes most times of the day). Good space in the two bedroom, but furniture is uncomfortable. Good bedding and great to have a kitchen and a great 3rd floor (Amenities).
