Very good place

Room was VERY disappointing. “Small” would be and understatement. My wife and I bumped into each other every time we tried to move! Though price was reasonable and staff was nice, there were too many negatives- would not stay there again! The details: valet parking and desk staff were very nice - though valet made a point that parking was $70/night and not $66 as web site indicated (apparently difference was tax); and though I requested high floor and extra towels, neither was provided. On entering room, I immediately was struck by the tiny size though the room was neat and appeared very clean. The bathroom was actually a good size (but I had to call the front desk to get my extra towels - which came quickly). The blackout shades were good but there was lots of traffic noise in the room on the 5th floor (the hotel had 12 floors). The AC worked well but it was cumbersome and confusing as to how to adjust anything but temperature. The minifrig worked well. The water pressure in the bathroom was minimally acceptable. The sink was very poorly designed as water was constantly splashing onto to top and there was no dry place to put toiletries. The lighting in the room was ok but there were no overhead lights in the sleeping area and the bathroom lighting was terrible. The complimentary breakfast was ok with a decent variety but the hot food left a lot to be desired. The room was nice. The best was the “scrambled” eggs which tasted good but looked to be out of a package, but the turkey and pork sausages were lukewarm at best and dry and tasteless. The front “lobby” was a smallish room which looked uninviting and needed much refurbishing. I attach a few pictures. I code this hotel for its location and it met that objective but unfortunately, even then, I would suggest there are better options.
