Easy to get into the city, keep to the right and go up the bridge. On the way back, come back via Bandai It Road, go around the roundabout, no need to U-turn, very convenient.

Maithong Hotel is located on the main road but quiet. There is a room zone next to the river. The hotel has a swimming pool and a conference room. The price is not expensive. The room is very spacious and clean. The room decoration is good. But the bed is a bit hard. The location is a bit far from the market. There is tea, coffee, and toast for breakfast. It is worth the money.

I was skeptical that a homestay could be rated so highly but now I understand why. It truly did feel like a homestay, as the family were present and tried to create an authentic local experience for their guests. Our hosts toured us through the city to a market and temples, it was a great experience and kind gesture. If you want to make connections with people while travelling I recommend this homestay!
