We had such a magical and unforgettable experience at Casa Migliaca. The convenient location, majestic view, cool breezes from the sea through the olive and lemon tree valley, warm and beaitufl family/owner full of hospitality, amazing home-made dinner, charming and historic house, property full of numerous old and beautiful olive trees, etc. We enjoyed the company of the family/owner and other guests at every dinner, and it was an incredibily rich experience having interesting conversations and listening to their stories over best quality wine and home-made liquor. The family/owner is very kind and thoughtful to accomodate our child's allergic restrictions in all dinners. The casa is also friendly and perfect for both grown-ups and children, providing trqnquil space to read, draw, reflect, mediate and/or wonder and play in the garden and property. We will definitely come back, hopefully very soon! Thank you so much again!

My sister had stayed here the year before and raved about it. So for my husband's 70th birthday 6 dear family and friends decided it was a way to celebrate. The magic of this place was beyond our expectations! In every way it was an exquisite experience. The tranquil beauty of the grounds and enchantment of the home and guest rooms make it a place you could go to for days, weeks and for me even months. Yet it's also a wonderful base from which to see other parts of Sicily like the Villa Romana. Especially memorable are the absolutely delicious dinners in the charming kitchen sitting at an antique table with people from many countries. Luca the owner is an amazing host. Thank you for making our stay the perfect celebration!

Posto bellissimo immerso nella natura e nel silenzio ideale per rilassarsi qualche giorno. Padroni di casa sempre gentili e disponibili. Purtroppo non ci torneremmo volentieri per mancanza di pulizia in particolare nei posti in comune, di stanze e di il bagni non molto confortevoli( anche se bisogna entrare nell’ottica di aver scelto una struttura di quel valore storico) e di una prima colazione poco ricca e varia . Cena deliziosa

What a recipe for a life enhancing stay! Not just a traditional lovely old Italian farmhouse accommodation, though it is that too. An idyllic & tranquil location; the most engaging host; great traditional Sicilian food & wine served by yourself and to others from an amazing lazy Susan around a big round table which invites conversations; and a changing group of guests from around the world who are eager to meet, talk and exchange experiences. In occasione della visita agli splendidi allestimenti land art di "Fiumara d'Arte", abbiamo goduto dell'ospitalità di Casa Migliaca, un vecchio frantoio trasformato oggi in una casa di pietra e legno. Un luogo capace di far risuonare le corde più intime e nobili della memoria rurale del Mezzogiorno d'Italia. Le stanze, dotate di tutto il necessario, sono rusticamente arredate. Non mancano mobili autenticamente antichi e suppellettili che generano l'interesse dei collezionisti. Ma la caratteristica più bella, e rara, è costituita dall'enorme tavolo circolare, assemblato con le pietre sulle quali si molivano le olive e sormontato da un altrettanto poderoso tavolo girevole sul quale viene posto il cibo (delizioso) ed il vino (buono). Ci si sta fino in venti. Così la cena, consumata assieme, tra ospiti e proprietari, è l'occasione per scambiare impressioni, esperienze, consigli. Ed il valore aggiunto è dato dall'eterogeneità dei commensali e dalle diverse provenienze. A tavola eravamo italiani, argentini, danesi ed austriaci. Una bella macedonia, non c'è che dire!

Lucca is a wonderful host with a lot of knowledge on Sicily. Food is magical. It's a peaceful place to rest but also convenient to visit the surrounding like Cèfalu. From all places I rest, that was my favorite one.

Spent almost 3 weeks in Sicily and Casa Migliaca was a highlight. The beautifully restored building is comfortably rustic with all the amenities required. Very quiet and comfortable, like staying with close firends. The grounds are walkable and interesting. This is a place to stay for several days to relax and go slowly. Luca, the owner, is easy-going, welcoming and responsive. Perhaps the best part is the evening meal which is served family-style with all guests seated around a huge round table. Each multi-course meal is served in platters on a large lazy susan. The food is locally sourced fare representative of great Sicilian country style eating prepared to perfection by Enza. During our stay we enjoyed sharing dinner and conversing with guests from Israel, Sweden, Denmark, France and Germany. Casa Migliaca is about 30 minutes by car from Cefalu. Spend 3 hours in Cefalu and 3 days at Casa Migliaca. You'll be glad you did.
