The hotel should have been acquired by the Crowne Plaza brand of InterContinental Hotels. It is right at the entrance of the scenic area, which is very convenient. Compared with the Swissotel across the street, the hotel's two restaurants are very good value for money, even cheaper than the tourist restaurants on the street, and there are no flies flying around. The hotel was really lovely. It was in the very best place in Petra, just next to the entrance of the Park. The staff was incredibly nice and accomodating of your needs and the building is just magical! In the afternoons you are having dinner or a drink surrounded by the same old old stones that make up the unique place of Petra and they are all original. The food was amazing and the rooms very comfortable . If I ever go back to Petra that will be my home!!

Wir hatten das Petra Guest House Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt in Jordanien gebucht und waren schon im Vorfeld von der schnellen und freundlichen Kommunikation begeistert. Direkt nach der Buchung haben wir das Hotel kontaktiert, um einen Transfer zu organisieren. Die Antwort kam umgehend, und man bot uns den Transfer zu sehr fairen Preisen an. Leider konnte unsere Reise aufgrund der aktuellen Situation nicht stattfinden, da unser Flug kurzfristig storniert wurde. Umso beeindruckender war die Reaktion des Hotels: Obwohl ein Teil des Preises eigentlich nicht stornierbar war, wurde uns der gesamte Betrag ohne Diskussion zurückerstattet. Das zeigt, wie sehr das Petra Guest House Hotel den Gästen entgegenkommt und Kundenservice wirklich lebt. Wir möchten uns herzlich für dieses außergewöhnliche Entgegenkommen bedanken und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wenn wir wieder nach Jordanien reisen, werden wir ganz sicher erneut im Petra Guest House Hotel buchen! Vielen Dank und bis bald!

Nous avons apprécié la chambre “chalet” très confortable au 3ème étage et son balcon avec vue sur la ville haute. We were here with 4 friends in may 2025. The staff was very friendly! The chambers were very neat and the location was 10/10, you couldn’t be more close to the entrance of the historical site of Petra! The ambiance at the bar was was also very nice. Breakfazt was more than enough, starting from 6 so we were very fast to enter the historical site
