One of the few local hotels that were able to achieve the 5-star rating that many others covet. The staff is unbelievably welcoming and helpful. Luai khleifat was especially helpful, as were Bahaa Hasanat, Ismail Amarat, Ahmad Hlalat and Mohammad Khleifat. They really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed a pleasant stay. The Chef really cares about the food he makes. The rib eye, camel burger and pasta were exceptionally good. It is a dry hotel, so, you get your own booze. But you do not get any hostility from the staff for drinking. They are open minded, but do not force them to service your drinks. They will get you whatever you need, if they have it, but that's about it. Respect the culture, the place, the people, and they will respect you back, and you'll get a wide smile with a cherry on top too. The view is nice, the pool is nice, the rooms are nice and the food is good. It is missing a few branding touches, but they're a local brand building their own experience, without the guidance of an international hospitality conglomerate forcing their hands. They're learning and growing as they go, and you can really feel the luxury in the name as you make your way through the lobby to your room. The price is extremely reasonable, too. I loved my stay at this hotel, and will definitely go again.
