We dined here recently. The ambiance was very nice, and the service was good. The presentation of the food was also nice. The food itself was just okay—not bad, but nothing special.

This historic hotel is beautifully restored and handsomely appointed. We didn’t take a room, but we dined at the hotel’s restaurant, Shirley’s. It’s a lovely space with tall windows that let in natural light. Marble and wood harken to earlier times. The dinner menu offers wide variety in spite of its limited size, and our dishes were well prepared and delicious. We stopped at the rooftop bar and took in a stellar panorama of Petersburg. The hotel is truly a gem and worth a trip for dinner, drinks or an overnight stay.

Amazing hotel, best restaurant in Petersburg by far. Amazing and polite staff, very clean, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Petersburg or even to locals looking for a great place to eat!

Parker and Jamar were so helpful with parking and getting our bags. We arrived late at night and the service was prompt and All of the staff are super friendly.

Chad was awesome and helpful and our stay at the hotel was amazing! We are definitely coming back to check out the roof top and and the basement ! The bartenders from last night and all the staff were amazing!!!!

The staff and hotel were outstanding. The rooms were big and spacious. We loved watching the fireworks from the Rooftop Bar. Highly recommend staying here. We also enjoyed having drinks and appetizers at the bar while we were there. This is a hidden gem!
