This was just an overnight stay as part of a longer road trip. It was big enough for us. Queen sized bed, which was comfy. Half sized fridge. Small bathroom. parking was good, out the front of our room. Just looking a little tired, needs a facelift.

Should have ran when we opened the door and saw the couch, but it was late & we needed to be elsewhere. Came back late & just jumped into be, woke up in the morning and were disgusted. No TV reception, old stained Blanket on bed, Carpet stained in areas, Shower in need of regrouting/Silicone as black mold stained. There was no Reception available in the morning to speak with about the issues. Majority of issue are Ownership based not staff related. We do not expect the world but do expect a clean and presentable room to stay in. (Friday 1 overnight stay only thank god! )

Comfy quiet stay
Easy to book, prior to arrival received an email with entry information, really comfortable and roomy room. Quiet location. A little oasis with the pool.

The Roundhouse Motel in Peterborough is a good place to stay when visiting this nice SA town with its famous rail history. Our room was spacious and clean with good facilities and parking at the door. The restaurant was undergoing work so there was no on-site dining but it was only a short drive to the town centre with hotels and pizza plentiful. Likewise no breakfast but we could easily eat downtown. It is only a short drive to the rail museum. We had a most comfortable night and would recommend the Roundhouse Motel.
