GGuest UserThe name on Trip.com is Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay, but the actual name on the hotel sign is The Snow Journey Hotel or The Monk Under The Mountain.
The room we stayed in had a bathtub right by the window, and when you looked outside, you could see the mountains and the river—so beautiful! During our 4-day, 3-night stay, we experienced both snowy views and views of the melting snow, giving us a variety of atmospheres. Every corner was perfect for taking photos, and in the mornings, we could just lie in bed and enjoy the view.

In the room, there’s a bed that you can adjust to make it warm, so the bed stays cozy. The bathroom also has a heating system, which was great because it was below freezing when we went. After coming back from the cold outdoors, taking a warm shower was absolutely wonderful!
The bathtub is the highlight of the room! Soaking in warm water while enjoying the beautiful view was totally worth it.
They provide all the basic amenities you might need, and if you’re missing anything, you can pick it up at the lobby. They have a table with various items (near the ”wish tree”) that you can take for free. Or you can message them on WeChat to request anything. Upon check-in, the staff will serve you tea and snacks and ask to add you on WeChat for easier communication since they speak very little English. Communicating via WeChat was very easy and convenient, and they were very quick to respond and always offered help.
The lobby has a fireplace, cozy seating, a dining table, and sometimes in the evenings, they play music or karaoke.
The rooftop on the 5th floor has a place to sit and enjoy the view, along with a washing machine and drying racks, which is great for those staying for an extended period.

The hotel is a bit off the main road, but the service is excellent. There are three staff members: a woman, a man (probably the owner), and a housekeeper. The woman takes care of everything from check-ins to preparing breakfast (which you can request for an additional 28 RMB per person), and even dinner. During our stay, we wanted to go somewhere, and if she was free, she offered to pick us up and drop us off. The care and attention were top-notch!
---- A Lovely Experience ----
The woman who took care of us was really sweet. When we went to the Four Sisters Mountain, she helped us book a car for 15 RMB per person. On the way back, I didn’t book a ride because I wasn’t sure when we’d leave the park, and I thought I could easily grab a Didi taxi. But I was wrong! I couldn’t find a Didi near the park, and to make matters worse, my phone died (from taking too many pictures). I ended up walking around trying to find a taxi, showing the hotel card and gesturing to the drivers that I needed to go back to the hotel. I finally found a taxi that agreed to take me back for the same price (15 RMB per person). The taxi dropped us off close to the hotel but got stuck behind a snowplow, so we had to walk the rest of the way. On the way, we spotted the hotel car and the woman who had been worried and looking for us. She was about to drive to the park to pick us up because she hadn’t heard from us, and we hadn’t replied to her messages. It was such a touching moment when she found us! 🥹

If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, great prices, spacious and clean rooms, and service that feels like family, I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the location is a bit off the main road (and there aren’t many shops nearby), it’s definitely worth it. I’m planning to return for sure!

GGuest UserHotel room is moderate, but the best part of the hotel are the staffs. They are eager to provide excellent customer service, promoting a positive, helpful and friendly environment. No surprise why people gave 10/10 feedback.
We stayed here for two nights and had three meals at the hotel. The food was also great especially fried rice with eggs.
10-15 minutes walking distance from Changpinggou and siguniangshan transport center whate we bought our bus tickets to Dugiangyan.
Strongly recommended!

XxiaoyueyueIf you’re looking for a stay that feels special and different from all those typical commercialised hotels, this is the one. We stayed in the suite and it was amazing. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and even a hot jacuzzi in the living room. The whole space was really big, with some nice traditional design touches. It’s great for families and definitely worth the price.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The boss even invited us to have tea with him in the evening, which was such a nice surprise. He gave us great suggestions for places to visit, and honestly, they were way better than what we originally planned. He even took pictures of us with his camera and gave us printed copies to keep, which was so thoughtful.
The lobby felt very cozy and welcoming. There were lots of cats and dogs walking around, which was perfect for us since we love animals.
The location was also just right. It’s only a 10-minute drive to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, so it’s convenient but still peaceful, away from the busy crowds. It’s also right across from the theatre that plays the romantic Jiuzhai show, which is great if you’re planning to watch it.
Overall, we had an amazing stay. Easily a 10 out of 10 experience. Would totally recommend it!
如果你正在寻找一间特别、有别于那些商业化酒店的住宿，那就快点选这家。我们住的是套房，真的非常棒。有两个卧室、两个浴室，客厅里甚至还有一个热水浴缸。整个房间非常宽敞，还有一些传统风格的装饰，适合家庭入住，绝对物超所值。
所有的员工都非常友好又乐于助人。老板晚上还邀请我们一起喝茶，真的很惊喜。他给我们推荐了很多景点，结果都比我们原本计划的还好。更贴心的是，他用相机帮我们拍了照片，还把洗出来的照片送给我们留作纪念。
大堂的氛围也很温馨舒服，到处有猫猫狗狗走来走去，对我们这些爱动物的人来说简直太棒了。
地理位置也刚刚好，开车到九寨沟景区只要10分钟，既方便又不会太吵，远离人潮。酒店正对面还有个剧院在演《九寨千古情》，如果你想看演出非常方便。
总的来说，我们这次住得特别开心，绝对是满分体验，非常推荐！❤️❤️

AainaaI had a very great experience during my stay, this hotel is 5 star!!! No no no, 10 star! They have everything, very helpful in everything. I’m from Malaysia, staying here only for one night, i wanna extend one more night but they’re full because i came during golden week :( but if i come back, definitely will stay in here. I love here so much. The room is huge! Can you imagine 2 big bed for 2 person? Dayuum! Jackpot! Floor heating and water heater is function very well. Even we have language barrier here since im the only Malay i think!?!?! But, no problem at all! They have oxygen tank, massage chair, lounge area at level 5 to see the view. I lost my words, everything was so perfect.

GGuest UserThe service of the B&B is very good. The boss will pick me up and drop me off as much as possible when he is free. The snacks and lemon juice prepared at the store are very good for relieving fatigue. The housekeeper is very considerate. I felt a little uncomfortable with altitude sickness at night. The sister is very experienced and helped me turn on the humidifier and adjust the room temperature. She also made lemon water for me (super touched 🥲). After a while, I really didn't feel so uncomfortable. I really need such a reliable person when I travel alone. The view of the hotel room is what you see, recommended!

Has an electric toilet flush system which falls short - squirts water whenever one sits on the bowl initially. A little frustrating! Staff tried to rectify by twisting the pipe but the solution was not satisfactory.
Smart room managed by 小爱同学。。。 possibly the most interactive and smartest of all voice control ”smart” system out of 5 hotels I stayed at during this trip to China. Not perfect... but pretty good!
Breakfast offered by hotel is buffet style! Good selection. Suitable for people who cannot have lactose. Chef also cooks a good selection of dishes if one has to dine in.
Many good reasons to pick this hotel... certainly a lovely hotel that is modern. Execution and attention to detail by builders not the best - crooked toilet bowl, bathroom fixtures crooked... Might not be a big deal but makes it less aesthetic.
It would be lovely if the hotel has a non- smoking policy throughout - considering health implications, pollution of a beautiful location and discomfort of non-smokers.

GGuest UserA relatively new accommodation near 九寨千古情, it is an especially happening area at night with lots of food options, and souvenir and simple grocery shopping choices. It is not difficult to find 金哈达 if you follow the directions on a map and the 姐姐 at the counter is very warm and friendly. When I told her that I'm leaving early the next day, and the location of boarding the bus is far by foot from the accoms, she offered to help call the bus driver to ask if the bus can wait for me at a nearer location so that it is more convenient for me. She was very earnest and sincere about helping me when she talked on the phone. She offered to send me to the pick-up location at 6am in the morning when she was still up waiting to receive other guests at 12am! Thank you for your hospitality, from online on WeChat to in-person interactions.
The room is big and clean, the hot water works well and is strong, amenities are all proper. WiFi, toiletries, hair dryer, air-con, bed heater, bottled water, slippers, enough charging points etc. are all good. There is a courtyard outside too, but unfortunately my stay is too short for me to enjoy the view. I recommend this accommodation to anyone else who is looking to stay overnight in jiuzhaigou, especially if you are planning to visit both jiuzhaigou and watch the play at 千古情

DDaughterofEveThis a snugly, delightful and welcoming home-style hotel. Perfect for winter months, as the room is pleasantly comfortable has floor heating, has a fantastic shower where the water is hot, the beds and bedding are snug, parking is available and the general facilities are great. The rooms are cozy and hygienic, not a spot/ hair found on the white bedding, and bath towels were fresh and clean, with all noted products placed in the room.
There was a bath and shower in the room I booked, with a cute little outside area in front of the door. The receptionists are friendly and extremely helpful. They go the extra mile by doing their best to assist with questions and giving assistance as needed. Translation services are used. I arrived at the hotel after 11pm and someone was there to receive me and help me order food. I was helped with advice about traveling, restaurants, bookings and even escorted to a yummy restaurant close by. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the smart toilet, that flushes as soon as you sit down, and doesn't flush down everything. Breakfast is available at this hotel as well as drop off services, if the vehicle is available. There are also many shops and restaurants around, making it a convenient place to stay.
There's a free treat to have photos taken in ******* style clothing, though I strongly recommend paying the cost effective fee (150 yuan) if you want better quality clothing to model in (greater variety to choose from), and have a lovely pictures taken. The hotel has stunning backdrops for these. Make up services (with some jewelry) is also available for the photo shoot. It's easily accessible as it’s very close to the hotel. ( 1.5 minute walk), and there’s a WeChat contact number to add, or the friendly hotel receptionists will arrange it for you quickly. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Oh! And the cute little tea set in the room (with bags of tea) was a lovely comfort after a long day of traveling. Fantastic hotel! Thanks ladies.

GGine HuiThe stay was ok. The hotel staff were not that friendly and helpful. The staff didn't greet us whenever they saw us during our 2 nights stay there. It is a small property and we were probably the only few customers there and yet it felt like we're were strangers to them. There is no elevator and we had to lug our luggage up to the 4th floor where our room was. Likewise we need to carry them down from our room when we checked out. If you need suggestion and information about getting around and what to do, don't hold hope that the staff is able give useful tips, you would have better luck checking the Internet. Breakfast was not ready by 7.30am on our first morning and the choices were limited due to low season. We had some soup noodles which was nice. The room was decently decorated. However, the toilet bowl flush was annoying and flushed by itself and splashed water out onto the floor with the ”faulty” sensor. There is no air conditioning but luckily there was floor heating. However, the heating took extremely long time to heat up. We also had to request them to activate the heater for us even though they knew we were in the room in the cold winter, really lack of sense of good customer service. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from the Changpinggou visitor center. We visited in February, during the low season, 80% of the shops were closed in Changpinggou area so it felt like a dead town. We went to Shuangqiaogou for meals and it seemed livelier there.
