The hotel is part of the history of the town. You can still find the desserts as prepared 50 years ago with fresh ingredient, great coffee, great service overall at the restaurant of the hotel. You can have an entire cake, to feed 12 people, for as little as 10 GBP. The hotel staff are always happy to help whether I needed extra towels or had my cothes to be dry cleaned at no extra cost ( I always tip a good service though). The hotel is still to install a lift, that is th only down side. But is extremly clean, comfrotable beds, updated interior and great hitting, for people like me that feel the cold a bit mroe than the others.
