Beautiful structure. Friendly staff. Adequate services. However, the outdoor parking lot was full on Saturday evening due to restaurant customers, so much so that they were unable to park. Furthermore, when we arrived the room was cold: in my opinion, if guests arrive, the environment must be prepared to be comfortable (and this also considering the standard of the hotel and the related costs). Very nice spa with heated pool, sauna and Turkish bath (for a fee).

Posta Donini is a well-maintained and comfortable hotel, with exceptionally friendly service, particularly from the breakfast staff, who were attentive and welcoming. The rooms are clean, and the setting offers a peaceful walk through the surrounding countryside, which adds to the charm. The town in itself has really nothing special, compared to other towns in Umbria. However, while the basics are well executed, the overall experience lacks a memorable or distinctive touch. The hotel feels a bit uninspired and is best suited for a short stay of one or two nights. Unfortunately, during our visit, a significant portion of the property was under construction, and we were not informed of this in advance. This limited access to several parts of the hotel and detracted from the experience. It’s also worth noting that Posta Donini functions as a wedding venue. Depending on the timing of your stay, the hotel may be particularly busy or noisy, and there is no guarantee the staff will inform you in advance of any events. In short, while the comfort and service are commendable, the rather plain atmosphere make it difficult to recommend for an extended stay.

Siamo stati molto bene, atmosfera familiare, stanze pulite e con servizi e dimensioni adeguate. Bar fornito, competente e personale cordiale. Buona ristorazione. Posizione davvero rilassante e comoda per raggiungere le principali località. Di sicuro torneremo in questa struttura in occasione delle prossime visite in zona. Bravi tutti.

Posto magnifico. Oltre all’incantevole parco e alla struttura, ottimo il ristorante Pantagruel nella stessa struttura. Da segnalare la barlady, Carmen, che miscela con sapienza e gusto in questa cornice storica e accogliente. Amazing villa and park in stunning Umbria region. A special shoutout to the bardlady whose mixology art moves between tradition and innovation!
