We recently attended a wedding here. I’d say 10/10 The venue , the food , the servers were fabulous. Such a beautiful location, even though the weather was cool and at times rainy it was the perfect setting for photos, by the lake. I’d like to re visit during the summer and book a room.

a most picturesque hotel at an historic site
the "pre-packaged" Breakfast was "convenient" but really the kind of breakfast available in a convenience store at a petrol station. Packaged food swee4t bun, a stale and dry orange (inedible), decent Yoghurt, mediocre coffee in a box for each guest, and no interior dining room (just outdoor terrace too cold for comfort. But the location is SUPERB, overlooking the lake and A SPACIOUS terrace balcony facing the site of one of the most crucial battles of the American Revolution that stopped the British invasion of Lake Champlain and helped ensure American vistory at Saratoga the foloiwing year.

I loved the easy people free check in. We didn’t see a soul the entire stay. Beautiful covered porch off of the room overlooking Lake Champlain. Coffee, tea and snacks right outside the door.

Disappointing
This room has a 100% view of the parking lot, no partial lake view.
The bed is uncomfortably soft.
The shower door doesn't close well enough to keep the water from the bathroom floor.
It's a lovely setting but not good value overall.
