The first thing that occurred in this room was the toilet handle broke off (it literally broke as it was plastic) so in order to flush it, we had to take the lid off (mold was everywhere) and pull the yucky chain. UGH! My husband went out to the desk and was told, well we do not have anyone here to fix that but you can use the toilets by the pool. No offer of a new room, reduced rate, nothing. Do NOT stay in room 100. This is by an exit door at the hotel. I knew this could be noisy, but it squeaked loudly every single time it was opened - not much sleep. Squeak at 1 AM, 2 AM, squeak at 5 AM. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had and we do not recommend it.

Stayed here for one night. I checked into room 200 and found that there wasn’tvan internet signal. I walked in the hallway towards reception and was able to log in. As I walked back to room 200 the signal disapeared. I went back to the front desk and asked for a room with a better connection. I then checked into room 332 and found the signal to be better but still very very poor. The hotel needs to upgrade it’s wireless system. Check the connectivity in your room before you unpack or just try another hotel. The hot breakfast consisted of waffles and a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. 👎👎 I would not stay here again.

This place sucks i would not even feed my worst enemy the breakfast here the sauage gravy was so cold I could walk over it with snowshoes .Get it to gather Lukky This place sucks!!! and even If I smoke in room waht ever I will pay the cost yet do not have to kick me out with the threat of calling the police what is this a commie place Hey,

We stopped for 2 nights so we we able too visit cedar point the hotel was very nice Rooms were a good size and very clean The staff were very friendly and pleasant at every interaction we had with them The hotel has a fresh feel and very nice decor the breakfast was ok for the free offering The area was very nice the only downside was next door is a old waterparkhotel which is in some disarray and is shouting out for re-development which could be off putting for some however it did not impact our stay and does not represent the area of this hotel When we return for our next holiday to Sandusky from the uk when top thrill 2 opens we will for sure stay here Well done sleep Inn

Wow. I was l pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort , care and customer service I experienced at this hotel. There were so many lodging places to choose from, but this was well worth it. Comfortable and Cozy rooms, courteous service, and a genuine interest by staff to make sure we felt right at home. The team addressed any concerns or requests we had with professionalism and respect. What made this stay even better was the hands on ownership, management really makes themselves accessible and takes customers seriously. The price was just right for our weekend stay during the summer. We definitely will be choosing this hotel the next time we are in town. Thanks again Sleep Inn!!

Good value! Clean, nice staff and breakfast bar with hot choices. Parking in front of motel was limited -- not the fault of the staff -- built in a very congested tourist area -- so, limited land space. Actually, an eye sore in such a quaint community -- but, it was a good value.

I would rate this negative stars if that was an option. We had reservations, but they could get our room keys to work. We just left because the smell of the place was awful. They said it was an air freshener, which I was wondering if they chose the option of raw sewage.

Horrible customer service, failed to issue refund when they charged me for a no show. I did change my reservation online which I had verification but they still refused to refund. General manager refused to return a call.

We decided on a quick trip to Cedar Point and Marblead for the weekend. The first night we were in town we stayed in Norwalk, never again. Checked the rates here and they fit our budget perfectly! Mind you, we tend to stay here, Cedar Point Express Hotel, or a hotel in Toledo. Once again, a great stay! Just need have a couple of questions -- how do people get in Maui Sands, why ate there different room lights on each night, and how do they have electric after being closed for so long. LOL. I know last fall we saw different rooms with lights on
