Wonderful stay! The people who work there, the facilities, and the natural surroundings are exceptional. Upgrade to the plunge pool. Highly recommend taking advantage of the classes and programming. The El Cultive dinner is a must. 10/10!

Hacienda AltaGracia is the perfect combination of immersion in nature, understated luxury, local foods and culture, interesting activities, and a spa with soul. Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) had a truly memorable stay last week. Each team member we interacted with was full of good energy and attentive to detail. Our compas (Paolo and Michelle) were fantastic - always quick, accommodating, and so warm. I asked once for sparkling water and herbal tea and after that, the room was always stocked with it. The trails are fun to explore and walking around the resort paths gives great opportunity for exercise while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The views from the pool are fabulous. The food is creative, tasty, healthy, and authentic. The activity roster is unique, informative, and fun. We enjoyed a mix of nature-based, culinary, fitness, and spa activities. There was always a great variety each day. Our kids did the kids club one day and had a fantastic time and experienced a variety of activities that taught them about the local culture. They just loved it! The area of Perez Zeledon is a gorgeous and a less touristy area of Costa Rica with a perfect climate. We loved our entire experience and are already planning for a time we can get back to Hacienda AltaGracia!

Hacienda Altagracia is a fantastic place to escape and unwind. The service and the culinary experience is unlike any other hotel. From the charter landing on the private air stop to the edible garden and the magical spa. Truly unforgettable.

Beautiful resort, fabulous service, amazing food. They think of everything and are so accommodating. Enjoyed the trails on the property and horse back riding. The stables are so well maintained we kept joking that the horses are treated even better than the guests. The food was delicious and creative, interesting twists on traditional Costa Rican dishes. The waiters were so knowledgeable about the dishes . It was a wonderful trip and I can't recommend AltaGracia enough.

A beautiful stay with a perfect mashup of nature and luxury. I enjoyed “getting lost” on the walks in the property and luxuriating in the spa.Indid the water and clay ritual and then relaxed in the gorgeous floor to ceiling pool area reading a good book for a couple of hours! I also enjoyed the Saturday morning, yoga class and meditation class. The food options on all menus were exceptional with lots of great healthy eating prepared in a gourmet style. This was a very relaxing and calming getaway at the end of an awesome for a trip to Costa Rica where I. And calming getaway at the end of a AWESOME for a trip to Costa Rica where I spent in the northwest in Guanacaste. I highly recommend Hacienda AltaGracia!! It reminded me of how sacred and beautiful the earth is.

Absolutely beautiful resort with the best and most personalized service! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were truly impressed! Our favorite activities were horseback riding, the river bath, a visit to the spa, and hiking.

Incredible Anniversary stay at Hacienda Altagracia! Our compas, Salome and Kevin, were attentive, responsive and on top of everything. The food is excellent and the staff at the restaurants and spa are friendly and helpful. Our Hacienda (15) with private pool is stunning and the housekeeping staff is excellent. Every night at turndown, we would be greeted with a relaxation tool and hot water bottles. Koen, the General Manager, is well-respected by his staff and he is heading up a well-run operation. He is very present, not hidden in an office, and we enjoyed speaking with him. You must try the banana bread at breakfast, yum! It was great to see the birds and butterflies enjoying the stunning flowers around the pool. The gym is large and clean with wet towels and there is plenty of hilly walking to be done along with nature hiking trails. It rained every afternoon so you have to get your sun first thing in the morning 8am - 11am if you enjoy that kind of thing. Mosquitos are fierce and are not deterred by bug spray. They provide bug spray and I brought my own which I finished in 3 days. The Visting Wellness coach was amazing and we had 2 sessions with Manjit Devgun which have changed our lives already. We are flying privately to Tamarindo airport for a few days on the beach next. Thank you Hacienda Altagracia for an unforgettable trip!

The really hidden property which is worth getting there.. healing nature, amazing food, the rooms (casita) which are breathtaking! it worth every single minute there, if you want a calm and rebalancing stay! Therapist Valeria is highly recommended.
