There were a lot of bad things since check In. But the one that hurt the most was the response from the Reception Manager whom knew I was Colombian living in the United States and that I worked for a Prestigiosa travel agency in Cali. When he reads this he will remember. All I can say, this is review is way to show you that you are not representing well what true Colombians are. Your staff is great but you definitely can not lead or manage anything in the hotel Industry. Needless to say, the owner of the travel agency I used to work for it is not going to recommend your hotel neither.

Me alojé en el Hotel San Simon en Pereira 2 noches, la atención fue excelente! Quienes te reciben y el personal del desayuno son amables, la habitación es muy confortable y el desayuno exquisito. Además brindan consejos sobre qué visitar, como llegar a cada lugar, y tienen buena predisposición siempre.

Overall the stay was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. One of the maids had a nasty habit of knotting charging leads, but they all kept everything very clean Breakfast was good particularly when Deisy (if I spelled correctly) was there.
I don't speak Spanish and rely on translate but reception were understanding and helpful.

Best Hotel en city center of Pereira
San Simon is the BEST Hotel in center of Pereira Colombia.Bargain price 213000 pesos/50usd. Silent rooms and big rooms...excelent service...and on the main square (Plaza Bolivar)

Almost perfect
Everything was great other than the bed comfort. The bed was hard as a rock. Felt like sleeping on a park bench. Literally everything else was wonderful. The staff were so friendly.
