Selection of this particular hotel for a relaxed vacation mainly due to location, 4 star category, and good rating. The price (220) relatively expensive for a double in my opinion but it didn't prevent me from booking for rest. The reservation was made by phone, for 5 nights. I deposited the deposit as requested by the hotelier with the assurance that we would have a good time. My review is based on the logic of value for money and secondly on the behavior of the staff. Arrival, then, on Monday afternoon. 1st observation, the hotel has an elevator but it is not working and probably not for a while. Of course, it has one floor and is not a particular problem, but for a 55-year-old with a recent operation on his leg, it might have been useful. The innkeeper helped me with the luggage. On leaving, of course, not even a word about help. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Among the consumables, a bottle of shower gel and a shampoo, without the rest that I usually find in hotels of the same level (wabs, body cream, conditioner, etc.). I expected there to be a kettle with some coffee and tea bags. There was a stove but no kettle or anything other than 2 glasses. There was also a free safe in the closet, so if you want you can take it to the beach for safety. We decided for dinner to visit the hotel kitchen. We were surprised to find that we will be eating at a table without a tablecloth and with multi-purpose plastic placemats. I consider it self-evident that in a 4-star hotel there will be at least a paper tablecloth. Food quality below average. In my place the pork tenderloin is the brisket and not a fiber-filled and indigestible slice of leg. At the same level and breakfast. Few options and sugary orange juice. For the above reasons, I think that the hotel is not worth the 4 stars or 220 euros a night for a double. An honest price would be at most 130 euros and maybe then it would be value for money. But my experience continues. Unfortunately for me, from the first day I developed a high fever that continued until Thursday, so we were terrified and decided to leave and return to Thessaloniki to investigate the problem. It goes without saying that for 3 days we neither had a vacation nor had a good time. The hotelier said he would do me a favor and charge us only for one of the remaining two days and even mocked me for not looking sick. I found this unacceptable but agreed to pay as long as it was shown on the receipt as an additional charge. To be honest when I looked it up I found that according to the legislation in case of early departure it is at the discretion of the hotelier to charge 50% of the remaining amount as long as the procedures have been followed. That is, after the initial reservation, the hotel must inform the customer about the reservation, about the conditions of stay, etc
