During our stay, the hotel was without running water for parts of Friday. For the duration of our stay, the air conditioning did not operate correctly on the first floor, and it was extremely hot in the common areas. The pool was completely drained and not available for use during our stay. Our rooms were dirty and borderline disgusting. My shower was so dirty that I did not feel comfortable showering without footwear on. It reminded me of being back in the college dorms having to shower with flip flops on. In addition, one of our families reported having blood stains on their carpeting. My favorite part was the sign in the lobby acknowledging that the property is in disarray, but not really apologizing for the state of the hotel or offering any sort of gesture that shows that hotel is truly apologetic. The hotel charges a premium price, but doesn't really deliver a premium, or even acceptable, guest experience. The hotel General Manager, Curt does not seem to care and lacks any sort of compassion or customer service skills. He was very aggressive and argumentative with the guests, and he was just an off putting person to interact with. During one of my interactions with him, he was aggressively talking to me on the phone and gave me an ultimatum that I could stay at his hotel or good luck finding somewhere else. This was an absolute nightmare experience, with a property that is falling apart, and a General Manager who does not know how to provide a great or even acceptable customer experience. Not once has he apologized or offered acceptable compensation for the terrible experience we encountered.
