We stayed 1 night at this hotel as part of a weekend visit to Port Meirion and Llandudno in North Wales. This location of the two Premier Inn properties available in Llandudno was chosen as it has on site free parking. With Port Meirion just over an hour away it was a great base for the area. The hotel is very easy to find and sits slightly away from the end of Llandudno beach next to "Little Orme" which is a rocky hill. There is a gentle gradient down to the promenade which can be walked right over to the town centre. While flat and wide, the walk to the town is over a mile. It was not an issue for us but it is something those who have mobility issues should consider. That said we were passed by many buses and the town itself has ample short stay parking should you prefer not to walk. On entering the car park the hotel looks good and is attached to the Craigside Inn Brewers Fayre where you have breakfast (if you pre-pay or attach the cost to your room on check in) or evening meal. The car park has plenty of space and you are close to the building where ever you park. Reception is on the left as you look at the building and is separate from the pub entrance. We were met by Luke who was both friendly and efficient. To access the rooms you will need to climb a set of stairs that had, from what we saw, no lift. We saw only one "accessible" room which didn't require this climb so if you cannot use stairs carrying bags, check before you book. Our room was the standard Premier Inn room which is similar no matter where you stay. We didn't have a sea view as we were at the rear of the hotel and we just looked out on to woods. While no issue, the more private guest might not like that there are no net curtains so you are either open to the woodland and anyone walking in it or in darkness with the backout curtains drawn. Our room was very clean, had all the amenities you need (TV / Kettle / etc) and had a very comfy bed but didn't have a fridge . The room was in good order, all furniture was unmarked and the room and bathroom smelt fine. We chose not to use the restaurant for an evening meal instead choosing to drive less than 5 minutes away from Llandudno to the Co-op Food on Glan-Y-Mor Road. This is a large shop with plenty of choice for snack items in case, like us you didn't want a sit down meal or you need water for the room. We paid for Breakfast and this was served in the Brewers Fayre. The breakfast is advertised as a buffet but they take your order at the table. While you can have as much as you want, you specify the quantity you require. This was fine with us but if you wanted more, we were not given the option to have a further round of food if it was wanted. That said, Gary was a credit to the hotel / restaurant. One things to note here is that Premier Inn does do deals where you can pay up front for both an evening meal and breakfast and this is reasonable value but it didn't seem obvious at time of booking. We as a family go to this hotel twice a year, we enjoy going to this one because of where it is, the scenery is beautiful overlooking the sea, as we walk in to check in, the receptionists are lovely and very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. The housekeeping staff make sure that the room is very clean, with everything to hand. One of the receptionist's called Steven, helped my son out, my son has Autism and we thought he got lost on the Great Orme, luckily he made his way back to the hotel, which we didn't know. When we arrived back to the hotel, my husband and I, were very anxious about not knowing where our son was, he is 32 years old. Steven explained that Ben was taken to the room that we were in and Steven made sure that he was safe until we got back to the hotel, Steven calmed us down and put us both at ease. What a lovely, kind man he was. A credit to the hotel. We had an evening meal this time and the food was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. The desserts were so tasty, especially the ice cream sundaes.

Beautiful setting with views of the sea and the Little Orme. Dinner breakfast and drinks all good served by friendly and helpful staff. Steven on reception went out of his way to try and find decaf tea for my daughter did not succeed but brought decaf coffee up to the room. A smashing two night break with my daughter.

Absolutely Excellent! From start to finish. On a family holiday with two teenage sons. Rang in advance to ensure we had a quiet room as I was recovering from illness and required rest time. Tasmine took the call, she was absolutely wonderful! Tasmine made our holiday ! On arrival their was a tray of Milk Tray and a hand written note wishing us a lovely stay. The room was amazing , perfect for two additional teenage boys. It was by far the best Premier Inn on our tour of Wales, Cheltenham and Uttoxeter. Everything was excellent, all staff, room, views, quiet, breakfasts. As foodies we enjoyed the breakfasts every day. Looking out at the beautiful view. We look forward to our next visit. It's in the most perfect location. The only fault is leaving and having to go home. See you Again. 😁

Just returned from a four day break here in an accessible room. The staff were the friendliest we have known. Tamsin, Leah and Steve on reception duties and Gary in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make us feel relaxed. Parking very easy but needed the car to drive onto the promenade each day . Views from the hotel of the Little Orme and of the sea as we exited were great. All rooms except the accessible are on first floor so guess views if sea facing would be ace.

We booked because of its proximity to Venue Cymru and the free car parking. Check in was a nightmare. Room was OK but bathroom smelled of damp. Brewers Fayre was closed when we got back from the concert at 11pm. Spent a wet Saturday afternoon in the restaurant reading the paper which stuck to the table! Had evening meal there. Would not recommend it. Whole place needs refurbishment and a deep clean. It wasn't even cheap! Poor value for money and will not stay there again.
