We stayed in the 1860's built Cameron Cottage - as we wished to experience historic Penola. The cottage is fantastic - redgum slab walls, wood and slate floors. Despite its age it provides a warm and cosy place to come home too after a day out and about. The information provided about the cottage and its owners was greatly appreciated. There are different levels of floors, so it does not offer the amenity necessary for people with a disability. I would greatly recommend this accommodation. It is walking distance to both central Penola and the Mary MacKillop precinct. Central Penola has great shopping, wine tasting and dining options.
