The hotel is an old building . Restaurante, pool and lounge are closed and they never mentioned it in the reservation.

Hotel is very dated. We stayed here for a night while driving through town. Beds were comfortable, shower was horrible. Our shower head was clogged and hardly worked. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. All in all, it was a good value but be aware there are other options in the same area.

The place was very dirty and smelled terrible. Was told that to be assured the rooms were clean but they weren't. Restaurant was closed too.

My company put me up at the Pendleton Oregon Red Lion for a few days as we were working in Pendleton. I have stayed at motel 6's that were less of a DUMP. This is a 1 star hotel. The $40.00 hidden fee I PAID, on top of the room ratey company paid was ridiculous. -- I will NEVER STAY AT ANY RED LION, when it's on my dime. I will recommend my company NEVER to stay at ANY RED LION. The attitude of the staff was "Californian". Super unfriendly, and not expected from Eastern Oregon. Unprofessional to say the least.

Rooms needed some care. Looks like it really need maintenance. Popcorn ceiling was crumbling and had patches that were loose.
Shower needed help and caulking.
Room was clean but was just mediocre.

My spouse and I got a last-minute reservation here after our original hotel plans in Pendleton fell through. Overall, I really have no complaints. Check in was easy, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There was a side door closer to our room, which was convenient for parking, but beware that the door doesn't really shut on its own - you have to make sure you pull it shut behind you, which could pose a potential safety concern. As I've noticed with most Red Lions these days, the building was outdated and it's getting a little run down. However, cleanliness was not an issue at all. There was no breakfast (as expected), but there was coffee and tea in the lobby.
