Holiday Inn Express Buffalo NE - Lockport

The first night was fine. The second night we found that the mounted pump containers in the shower had not been refilled for awhile. The body wash pump was empty. No bars of soap available in room. When I got on the floor to do exercises, a small shard of glass became embedded in the palm of my hand. Obviously, Housekeeping didn’t perform the cleaning very well. When I went to the front desk to submit a formal complaint, I found that the two front desk workers just started working there that night with very poor training, if any. They had no idea how to provide missing laundry bags for guests, how to provide a guest with shower body wash when empty. I provided a formal complaint on note paper to Naomi, one of the front desk clerks regarding the embedded glass in my hand. She saw the glass as well. She left that note for her manager come morning.

Breakfast is awful. They only have some bread. Not even some eggs or bacon.

The property was super clean, neat, and staff was very friendly. What I didn’t like was I told housekeeping that I didn’t need any service. I went out for the day and came back my I phone charger was missing. I left it plugged in the wall by my bed. My daughters had new chargers so they didn’t use mine but mine was stolen I know for a fact it was stolen. I told housekeeping I didn’t need service just towels so she gave them to me in the hallway and I gave her my dirty towels in the hallway then my family and I left for the entire day. I know exactly what happens. Since I told her I didn’t need service she went in my room anyway since I left and stole my charger. My advice to anyone who is staying don’t ever say you don’t want housekeeping because they will go in your room when you leave and steal then when you complain and tell the hotel that they stole something from your room the housekeeper will say she didn’t go in the room because the guest said she didn’t want housekeeping. That’s how the cover there tracks. So always request housekeeping that way you can say they were in your room if something comes up missing. A charger is no big deal but stealing is stealing if I had something of value that probrably would have been stolen too. They do have safes in the closet you can use which is wonderful but I didn’t think I had to put my charger in a safe. Other than that the hotel is wonderful I will go back but next time I’ll request housekeeping and use the safe provided

Very noisy at night, I could hear people talking, other people stepping really loud on top floor and people chatting at 3, 4 am.
