Wonderful as usual - Kathryn and Richard are amazing - We will go again as soon as possible. The situation is excellent , the views great , the suites very comfortable. We have been a number of times and feel like friends of Kathryn and Richard.

As ever a delight to stay at this lovely family retreat, 5 star all the way. Breakfasts are local produce served in an elegant conservatory. Big comfy beds and beautifully furnished accommodation. The grounds and surrounding countryside are ablaze with Autumn colours this month.

Wonderful accommodation in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. From delicious Welsh cakes on our arrival, fresh milk, a comprehensive minibar, and good tea and coffee making facilities, to a superb beautifully presented breakfast, we could not have asked for anything better. We spent four nights with Richard and Kathryn at Penbontbren and were somewhat reluctant to leave. We shall return.

With out a doubt this is our favourite luxury B&B set in fabulous grounds. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed and the breakfast is always special. Nothing is too much trouble for hosts Kathryn and Richard. This was our second visit, this time for six nights. It will likely not be the last.

This is the second visit to Penbontbren and it was as good as before. The host were very welcoming and their local knowledge is invaluable. The room configuration and facilities available in the room are ideal. It’s a beautiful part of the country and Penbontbren is a great comfortable place to use as a base. We are already planning a return visit. First class!

We’ve just returned from a fabulous long weekend at Penbontbren B&B. It’s difficult to find places where you can completely relax and reflect nowadays, but this place is special. The accommodation is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast outstanding, and the people wonderful. It’s the perfect idyllic base from which to explore beautiful west Wales. Kathryn and Richard are fabulous hosts, and we can’t thank them enough for all their advice and care during our stay. We will definitely be back, thank you both!

We have had very good 4-days at the Penbontbren. It is a very luxurieus B&B with a beautyfull garden in a very nice surroundings. The Host & Hostess (Richerd and Kathryn) were really friendly people. The breakfast was very good and the rooms very proper. There is a lot beautyfull things to see and active things to do the surrounding area. I can recommend other people to stay here for short time or even longer. We want to come back someday. Steffan and Kristel

It was absolutely amazing ,very peaceful and relaxing ,we had a private outside area with lovely views ,looking over the grounds .fantastic location ,only a short distance away from the main beaches .we really did enjoy walking around the gardens . The cottage was absolutely amazing, we had everything there ,even the small little things that you might need . The breakfast was fantastic There was a very good choice ,Richard and Kathryn are fantastic hosts ,very friendly ,and make you very welcome , I would highly recommend 5☆
