Very nice hotel, we only stayed overnight but it was perfect; clean, quiet, and a pretty big room, and we had a nice view out the back. They had a restaurant in the hotel but we walked into town instead, but the breakfast was good, lots to choose from and the staff was very accommodating.

El hotel situado en un lugar muy bonito, en pleno campo y junto al pueblo de Penamacor. La habitación amplia y personal simpático y servicial. Todo muy limpio. Desayuno normal. Lo único malo es que el baño a veces a las cañerías. Las termas, me parecían caras.

Atendimento fraco, muitas falhas e uma tendência natural para levar as pessoas de engano. Só o facto de não ter nem uma entrada no Spa incluída na reserva (que não é assim tão barata) já leva a entender o que está gente anda à procura. Hotel termal onde as termas são consideradas uma despesa extra é como ir a um restaurante e pagar pelos talheres...

Stayed one evening in March on route to the Algarve For one night and breakfast price was decent Was pleasantly surprised at the magnificient building Reception was massive with friendly staff Check in was quick and easy Rooms are large and clean Beds are super soft and shower pressure was good Breakfast spread was a large variety with homemade items include Overall recommend this hotel and would return if ever in penamacor again

Bad smell in bathroom. Couldnt adjust heating in the room. Staff barely interested in communication. Awful restaurant. Only a poor set menu while i was there.

Failed to deliver on its promise.
I was quite disappointed. I was wanting to love the hotel, and pulling into the long drive, it looked to impress. The outside is fantastic and has great appeal.
Once inside, it felt like a cross between a morgue and army barracks. Crazy dim light, no real decoration, no music or much in the way of a warm or welcome feel.
The hallway was so dark and dim until the sensors kicked in, which then provided the same light one would expect from a Soviet era store room. The quarters were equally spartan, with accommodations that do everything required for function, but offer nothing in the way of character.
The bathroom continued the theme of sparse, industrial lighting. The shower leaked when using it. And the bathroom tiles are outright ghastly.
Breakfast was quite meagre, and they charge extra to use the spa.
Hire an interior decorator, hang some paintings and decorations, play some nice music, and hire an electrician to fix up the lights. Especially outside. Once dark, the beautiful stone should be lit up and highlighted.

Demasiadas estrelas para este "hotel"
Os quartos tinham óptimas condições e limpeza. Termas com tempo controlado, sauna não funcionava e preços de acesso a outros serviços proibitivos.
Pequeno almoço, do que pior que vi nos últimos anos: falta de quantidade e qualidade dos produtos, sumos de pacote, serviço de mesa (tolhas, talheres...) inexistente devido ao pouco pessoal e à desorganização evidente. A culpa não será só de quem lá está mas muitos de quem "gere" à antiga.
