The mattress protector had a massive urine stain - could see it through the sheet. Noticed at 10pm, layered a blanket over it to not be a hassle for the first night. Informed reception at 9am and mentioned we would be out until 2pm, requested to have it changed. Came back at almost 3pm and had to wait another half hour for house keeping because they apparently weren't made aware.. with a 1 year old that was already overdue for a nap this was extremely frustrating.
The mini fridge barely stayed cool, our yoghurt pouches ended up curdled.. noticed signs saying it isn't for food.. wish we were made aware prior to booking as obviously with a baby we needed to keep milk and snacks cold, had to remove a lot of drinks to even be able to use it, same with counter - would have rathered no overpriced drinks/ snacks in rooms, not very family friendly especially if kids managed to open something. The kitchen sink was covered in mould and grime.. no tea towel, cloth or dish liquid, had to go purchase these then wash bottles in the bathroom sink, next kicker the bench in the bathroom was covered in dust and hair from previus guests, shower also had hair everywhere. No kettle just a Toaster and microwave, the conditioner was empty (also made aware at 9am) and after check out we were charged for an item in the mini bar - we didn't consume anything so working to get this removed. Overall very disappointing for the cost, we won't be staying here again which is disappointing because we are in Sydney frequently and the location is perfect for our activities.
