The hotel could do with an update. My room was basic but clean. The water system took ages to stop making a noise after the room next door used it. There was also a lot of doors banging .

I chose this hotel specifically because of its reputation as a spa destination, but sadly, our experience fell far, far below our expectations. Firstly, I was very concerned about the state of the spa facilities. The area appeared dirty (see photos) and clearly in need of urgent repair, which made it far from the relaxing and rejuvenating environment I had anticipated. The steam room, in particular, was in a poor condition, very dirty and unpleasant to use. It needs to be closed in my opinion , thoroughly cleaned, and properly repaired before it is reopened to guests. I have also told the manager this The changing rooms were also below standard, with even the condition of the handwash bottle(filthy) reflected the general lack of cleanliness. The sauna was also broken, and be warned the pool is quite small and family swimming is on all afternoon, so if you want to swim in the small pool go later in the evening or early morning. In addition, our room was not up to the standard I would expect. The hallway and stairwell leading to it were dusty and dirty, giving a poor first impression. The outside steps in particular looked as though it had not been brushed or cleaned for some time. Inside the room, while the main area was acceptable, the overall attention to detail in cleaning fell short, particularly around surfaces and fittings. My hair dryer had also been taken off the wall and left in the cupboard. Try drying your hair with that! See photo. The general cleanliness of the hotel was also concerning. At breakfast, I noticed black mould on the net curtains in the dining area, which was both unsightly and unhygienic. This is not what I would expect from a hotel displaying four red stars at its entrance. The saving grace was the staff and food, the team were consistently friendly and helpful, our dinner was enjoyable, and the prunes at breakfast were excellent. Shout out to the lovely staff that made the stay more enjoyable. I did raise my concerns and had a response, which was also positive. The hotel grounds are all nice and it’s very close to a lovely beach.

Hotel is totally rundown and I mean TOTALLY. Arrived at 3pm for check-in to be told the room wasn't ready, not something you expect after a 4 hour journey and paying near £200 a night. The Spa (heavily run down), was full of children, so not really 'A Spa Retreat' as promised on the website. No drinking water in the Spa, no staff in attendance. Sauna and Steam room operate on alternate days, I can only assume to save more money. Tennis Courts are full of weeds and the nets are falling apart. The room is dated, by that I mean hadn't been decorated since before the cold war started. No fridge in the room. Small double bed. All in all way overpriced. Not somewhere for couples because of all the kids, not somewhere for kids because there are no kids facilities. Basically a poor hotel that doesn't know what it wants to be and needs a MASSIVE overhaul. I would advise against staying unless you need a room in the area and nothing else is available.

Very very poor spa area!! Very dated. The jacuzzi is Luke warm but most annoyingly its on a 5 minute timer and you have to get out of the jacuzzi to turn it back on. ( certainly not relaxing) then the steam room that isn't really a steam room- its a joke, the steam comes out in a 30 seconds burst and then nothing for around 15 mins and your sitting there in the cold as your damp waiting for the next 30 seconds burst of steam. It's pathetic! Couldn't say much about sauna as out of action and broken. In all I wouldnt really call it a spa hotel to be fair,

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Lamphey Court Hotel. The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful. The ambience is lovely. The food is tasty and fresh. The breakfast has lots of variety and is good quality and well presented. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The swimming pool is a lovely temperature ,There is also a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym with a separate weights room. The changing rooms and spa are relaxing warm and pleasant. Staff in the bar are lovely. All the staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful We loved the gardens and the tree house with the added attraction of a ruined palace next door. It is an allocation round co.fortable hotel with lots of space to enjoy both inside and out. It is very convenient for Pembroke ,castles and beaches

My husband and I have stayed in many hotels over the years, and we can confidently say this four-star hotel truly deserves five stars. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, from the beautifully appointed room to the outstanding food and relaxing spa experience. The reception staff, both over the phone and in person, were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The restaurant team was equally delightful. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. For dinner, I had Chicken Supreme, and my husband had a burger in a brioche bun with homemade fries; both were delicious. Our deluxe room was immaculately presented, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed, in particular, was exceptionally comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep that truly enhanced our overall experience. The swimming pool was a real highlight: the water was lovely, just as inviting as the sea in Tenby, but warmer, which made for an incredibly pleasant swim. The spa was the perfect way to unwind. In the evening, we enjoyed a drink at the bar and relaxed outside while watching horses grazing peacefully in the distance, a truly idyllic setting. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional, with an impressive selection of both hot and cold dishes, all beautifully presented. We’re already looking forward to returning next year, and we wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel to others.
