The Jubilee Inn

Had Sunday roast on 5th. 1st visit to pub and can't wait to go again. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Real fire burning, what could be nicer. We both had large roast and it was indeed large with lots of fresh vegetables and great roast potatoes. It was perfect home cooked roast dinner. They also cornish stout which is my husbands favourite. Finished off with jam sponge and lots of custard and my husband had profiteroles which he declared to be the best ever.

We originally went for two weeks and stayed for just over three, didn't want to leave. Steve, Linda and all the staff and locals are absolutely brilliant. Going back in 2025 deffo ( can't wait). Booked for June but don't think I can wait that long, March sounds good pretty sure I'll go for it

Well, this is an odd review in that we never actually got there as our booking was cancelled by the Jubilee Inn. We had driven three hundred miles to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary near where we had our honeymoon in Polperro. Unfortunately, we chose the Jubilee Inn, who accepted our booking and confirmed it via *******. We drove halfway down from Scotland and stayed in Northampton for the night to break our journey as we're in our seventies; when the Jubilee Inn cancelled by email, sent at 19.37 hrs the night before we were due to arrive, which we didn't read until the following morning, setting out for the journey to the Jubilee Inn. Not even a courtesy call to explain why the short notice cancellation... nothing. ******* were excellent, and after investigation, refunded our full payment for the weeks holiday. It was obvious Jubilee Inn hadn't told them they weren't open or taking bookings either! In all this not a word from the Jubilee Inn! Frankly if this is how they operate, I'd steer clear!

It’s very hard to write review, as we never got to enjoy this B&B. We just happen to look on the website and we saw a comment that the Jubilee was closed for renovation. With 48 hours to go without any communication from Jubilee inn. Absolutely disgusted that we had no email or text message informing us that our booking was null and void. Thankfully, ******* had given us a full refund. But has still left us two days to book somewhere else.

Dropped by for a spot of Sunday lunch which was most excellent , service was brisk and efficient, but not rushed and staff were attentive and professional. Would recommend without hesitation or fear of disappointment.

We had a 2 night stay in The Jubille Inn - Lovely staff who were all very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave it behind! Thank you all for a fab stay helping us find our way around the area❤️
