Vivid view from a great location. Slightly short from a perfect stay though as the food was a bit undercooked and breads too thick for our liking. Furthermore exhaust fan was not working, bath area was missing a glass door and they were also out on hand towels. But trying to overlook that as the property was scenic and homely staff who took care of our requirements.

I have visited pelling on 3rd November 2024 to 4th November 2024 ***** with family including my son 22 years old. We stayed in Magpie Chestnut retreat during these days and stayed in prime family room. The hotel was wonderful property located in very decent location. Ambience of the property is very beautiful having direct mountain view from room and balcony. We enjoyed the beautiful scenic beauty of Kanchanjunga mountain view from the balcony. The hospitality and service was wonderful. Enjoyed the Food in the restorent and all staff were very kind enough and cooperative. Definitely I will recommend this hotel for others who look forward their trip to Pelling. K Shivaprakasha Mumbai

Location is the prime factor to choose this Hotel. Awesome place. Rooms and facility also good. Even in Festival season like Diwali, crowd is moderate and we can enjoy with Kanchendzonga and Himalayan mountain ranges views (condition weather to be good 😉).

This property is very well located at a beautiful place where we can see the kanchenjunga hill. The service is very good. The staff is very courtious. The rooms are very neat and clean. Very cute cottages. A must place yo go. They have beautiful villas too.

Good property and location. Staff were friendly and food service was excellent. Package organised by highlander Tinku and Niraj were quite supportive! Overall it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious with good view of the valley..

Outstanding Property with beautiful location. Excellent hospitality. Very well behaved staff. Prompt service. Very well maintained resort. Very good food with veriety. Spacious rooms for two can accommodate additional bed if needed. Would recommend this resort to others.

We loved the place. Tranquil surroundings, very beautiful cottages and picturesque location. Food is excellent. We liked the prompt service and personal touch of the staff. Maintenance of the room and bathroom was good. Special mention of their staff - Pramila and Dewakar. Office staff were also polite and helpful. Highly recommended..

Wonderful location, comfortable rooms with good amenities. Helpful staff, good buffet. They took good care about any specific menu ordered. They had added local cuisine too . Overall wonderful stay. I would recommend everyone to spend their vacation at this resort.

Great location and Stay at magpie chestnut for a night, the stay is located in midst of forest ,really enjoyed the view. The staff was very helpful in dinner and room services especially would like to give thanks for Mingma lepcha and Prashant limbu. Room was clean with the essentials.
