The Ritz-Carlton, Naples

Our one-night stay at the Ritz-Carlton Naples was for a sponsor event by Pre-Born. Upon arrival, there is full valet service only. They do know how to drive a manual, which was our concern. The hotel is beautifully constructed and solid, being located right on the Gulf. The staff were genuinely friendly. The rooms seem to be built around the plaza overlooking over the Gulf which made for a beautiful view for any room. Also, this made the hallways silent our whole stay. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The bed and pillow gave us a comfortable rest. Our room had a balcony, we sat out there as much as we could. It was so peaceful. The best part for me was a censored under the cabinet light in the bathroom for walking about at night. We walked around the grounds and got a shareable meal at Gumbo Limbo. The plaza was well maintained and so relaxing off the beach. We checked out the game room. All the games were free to play: air hockey, ping pong, Skee-ball, pinball, basketball, and other arcade games. We are 80’s kids, so this was a hit! We looked in a couple shops and the ice cream place. There is a sushi restaurant and another restaurant which open during early evening hours. The ballroom and reception area were beautiful too. We rested in the lobby, after the banquet to people watch. The furniture was so comfortable we could have taken a short nap. This is not a hotel we usually stay, but it made us feel like the “rich and famous”. I would highly recommend the Ritz-Carlton Naples if money per room is not an issue.

Our dinner at Ritz Carlton Sofra was an experience to remember. The food was perfect, the best I’ve had across many places I’ve visited. Each dish was a masterpiece, from its stunning presentation to the incredible flavors that lingered beautifully on the palate. A huge thanks to the chef for such outstanding creations that truly reflected passion and skill. The service was excellent, and the ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. The only drawback was the music. It was loud, club-style tunes felt mismatched with the fine dining atmosphere. Softer, Mediterranean inspired melodies would have complemented the setting and enhanced the overall experience. Thank you to the Sofra team for a wonderful evening. We look forward to returning for another unforgettable meal!

Never went. Will never use ******* ever again !

This isn’t quite 5-star, more like 4.5. But overall it’s a Ritz I would recommend. TLDR summary… What’s good: 1. Staff- Helpful, friendly, and attentive. 2. Dining- Many options, food very good. 3. Rooms- soundproof from room to room, large, and newly renovated. 4. Pool(s)- thank god for an adult pool and it’s enforced! More than enough seating. 5. Spa- super large and luxurious. What could be better: 1. A/C in rooms shuts off during the night regardless of temp and it got hot. 2. Hallway noise from doors cut short echos into the room 3. Beach has tons of shells is not pleasant to walk on 4. Location- Can’t walk anywhere must have a car to go to any off property restaurant. About 15-30 mins from most shopping. 5. No tub in room. What’s downright horrible: Literally no mention or recognition of my Platinum status. Now we were here over NYE so didn’t expect any upgrade as hotel was full. But not even a “thank you for being a Bonvoy member” at check in. There is no lounge (that I know of) and literally no mention of your status. In fact, I wouldn’t think it was even part of the program but I redeemed points for the stay! This is hotel can be very pricey and some will say the $$ vs value isn’t there. But I think the beauty of the hotel across the common areas and the rooms, plus the restaurants, spa, and friendly/attentive nature of the staff deserve a high rating. All of my complaints are on the small side, just realize it’s not perfection despite the high price (or high amount of points you will need).
